Batman vs. the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Movie thread

I remember reading rumors of this movie as far back as two years, and it seems to be upon us.

I wasn't a fan of the Batman / TMNT comic run, but this movie looks pretty cool. And, just like the comics, it seems to use a loose interpretation of the IDW Turtle designs along with the New 52 Batgirl / Jim Lee Batman.

I'll definitely be checking it out!

That definitely looks fun. My hubby is Batman obsessed and I love TMNT.

I can't wait to see Batman Versus Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, it looks amazing, I do love the Bat/TMNT comics too, and the movie looks fantastic. I'm so glad Batgirl is in it too, she's one of my favourite DC characters.

Batman cracks me up. Doomsday, Mongul, Darkseid, Bizarro, and Black Adam could all invade Gotham, and he would be like "Hey Justice League! Get the hell out of here! Gotham is MY city!"

Granted, today's Batman could mop up all of them without breaking a sweat.

Batgirl was my boyhood crush.... and remains so in adulthood.

I'm so excited for this, the comic was great. I just hope they keep some of the highlights from it, like Batman talking to Raph about anger, and the other turtles having a nice talk with Batman about family. Not to mention seeing the IDW version of Shredder actually holding his own against Batman himself.

For me it was Yvonne Craig - gorgeous woman and my definitive Batgirl, and my boyhood crush!

I'm really excited for this movie - I've thoroughly enjoyed all the TMNT / Batman team up comics (including the mini-series that teamed up their respective animated versions), and I'm excited to see them brought to life!

    Take care...

Yeah, Harley didn't show up until 1993.... WAY too late to the party.

One of my favourite TMNT characters is Karai and I hope she is in the movie or at least a sequel.

Like my best buddy Chris says, I also love Yvonne Craig as Batgirl and I loved Alicia Silverstone as well.

I personally plan to get the 4K/ Blu-Ray combo pack.

I'm hoping that Target will have an exclusive Steelbook for this like they do with most of these direct to video DC animated movies.

I like how prominent the TMNT are on this cover!

The artwork is really good too.... I wonder who the artist is? It definitely doesn't look like Freddie Williams II did this.

    Opening scene!

I like the animation style... a bit stiff, but the designs look cool. (Although, I wish this was classic Batgirl...)

Already pre-ordered a copy of this movie over on Amazon. It's looking like it'll be a great movie, especially since this year's the 80th anniversary for Batman and the 35th for the Ninja Turtles.

    Wow... this movie is AWESOME!!

I don't want to spoil it for anyone, so I'll keep this short.

Shredder is freakin' wicked in this movie, Batman is Tha-Man, Baxter Stockman is incredibly cool, and the TMNT all bring their unique charisma to Gotham City!

The animation isn't quite as fluid as in Justice League vs Teen Titans, Batman Year One, or Batman vs Robin (all of which I like - except for bits of Year One...), but it gets the job done, and the character designs really grew on me.

If you are thinking of getting this, don't hesitate - it is well worth the purchase and I know I'll be watching it again soon!

Also, the opening credits are sweeeeeet! Oh, and be on the lookout for some cool easter eggs!

I watched this on Sunday night, it was brilliant.
Shredder is a really awesome villain in this movie.
Batman is great and the scenes with him and the Turtles are pretty amazing.
My only slight nit pick would be I wasn't too keen on the designs of the Turtles and Baxter....but at least they weren't like the Bay movies or Rise of the TMNT.
I hope they do another one with some other TMNT characters like Krang, Splinter, April and Casey Jones etc.

I am definitely looking forward to Batman Versus Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. I love the Justice League/Power Rangers graphic novel crossover too, that would also make an awesome animated movie as well.

Somehow this became a contender for the best cross-over movie of all time. I don't know what more any Batman and/or TMNT fan would want. The animation looks cheap sometimes, but it didn't stop The Dragon Prince from becoming a new favorite of mine, and it doesn't stop this movie. I laughed out loud multiple times and was engaged in the action and character moments. Buy it, see it.
I have seen what others have not seen!

DC Collectibles is releasing 2-Packs based on the animated versions of these characters!

They look very accurate to the character models and have good articulation and accessories!

Looks really cool! I'm hoping the movie appears on DC Universe or Netflix so I can check it out.
