It feels like silence is deadly when it comes to this film. If he can never say anything, it doesn’t bode well

I think that the plan is to indefinitely postpone this movie until we, the original MOTU fans, die off... because there is just no way it can live up to our expectations at this point!
We need the POWER of the GOOD and the WAY of the MAGIC !!!

This! Exactly how I’m feeling about this film. I know what I see in my head but, it’s probably different than what others want, or some expect. I’ve become numb and am moderately happy with the ongoing film series in my head.

It's crazy that there will be a live-action Barbie movie this summer and the MOTU movie seems to be stalled.

I think if Barbie does well, MOTU will get a fire lit under it's butt real fast.

    Is it?

In 2022, Mattel's Barbie brand generated gross sales amounting to 776 million U.S. dollars.

I can see why Barbie is the much bigger priority.

Good point. I just thought Barbie would be an animated film

Barbie feels like a parody-type comedy movie in which it will make jokes at its own expense the entire movie. If they want a good MOTU movie, that really wouldn't work for it. A few jokes here and there or a comedy relief character like Orko would work, but if the people in charge don't take MOTU seriously enough, it will bomb.

Never thought I'd say this, but the new Dungeons and Dragons movie would be perfect in tone IMO. So glad we finally have a great D&D movie!

It's such a shame there has been no new updates or any sign of this movie going forward.

Hopefully if there's going to be a Film? Just make an animated hand drawn Film like Batman: Year One. Remember, people were a little upset over Revelation but Mattel should slowly expanding the brand into Feature Film.

Playing a three-hour Rush show is like running a marathon while solving equations.

It's so funny that you mentioned this...

I was just thinking the other day, why doesn't Mattel & fill-in-the-blank Studio just release an epic animated MOTU movie to theaters?

It wouldn't be as risky, and no environments or special effects would be off-limits... Heck, it worked for Spider-Man.

Strangely, most moviegoers in America consider "cartoons" to be a small screen experience... but, I think that this mindset is slowly starting to change.

Do they? What about Pixar, Minions, Disney, Into the Spider-Verse?

It's funny that the only thing DC knows is how to make a good DC character's animated films.

Into the Spider-Verse are damn great, but I do want the movie to be hand drawn & Gritty like Batman Year 1/Castlevania/Revelation for the first animated movie.
