It feels like silence is deadly when it comes to this film. If he can never say anything, it doesn’t bode well
I think that the plan is to indefinitely postpone this movie until we, the original MOTU fans, die off... because there is just no way it can live up to our expectations at this point!![]()

It's crazy that there will be a live-action Barbie movie this summer and the MOTU movie seems to be stalled.

Barbie feels like a parody-type comedy movie in which it will make jokes at its own expense the entire movie. If they want a good MOTU movie, that really wouldn't work for it. A few jokes here and there or a comedy relief character like Orko would work, but if the people in charge don't take MOTU seriously enough, it will bomb.
It's such a shame there has been no new updates or any sign of this movie going forward.

It's so funny that you mentioned this...
I was just thinking the other day, why doesn't Mattel & fill-in-the-blank Studio just release an epic animated MOTU movie to theaters?
It wouldn't be as risky, and no environments or special effects would be off-limits... Heck, it worked for Spider-Man.
Strangely, most moviegoers in America consider "cartoons" to be a small screen experience... but, I think that this mindset is slowly starting to change.
