Yep, all the older stuff is being cleared out for 2020's stuff. I saw Super Hero Girls, Lego, Star Wars, Transformers, Marvel, and others all on clearance like I do every year. I'm with Adam, this is not a sighn its over.

I used to work at Target and if they clearance the entire line that usually means that the line is done. If they’d only clearance specific items from the line it might have had a chance but seeing that every piece was marked down means it’s over. I just don’t think the dolls looked that great. Bow and Glimmer didn’t even look like the show and they should have made figures like the vintage. As much as I like the new show I hate the character designs. The just don’t look very pretty and looks like the kids agree as well.

I hope this means we will get some more vintage inspired designed Pop characters in the new He-man show.

I still think they should have had action figures.

One of my friends who lives in NYC has a young daughter who loves the show, I told him the dolls are available at Target and he simply couldn’t find them.

    Well, these are dolls which are needed as a complement for the general merchandising of the show and are just there on a corner of the shop if little girls want them but it's no more the 80s crazyness ;
probably they have not invested that much either I mean action figures is no more the core business for such toy companies. Revenues comes from different aspects, maybe a mobile game could be successful enough among kids and millenials, just sayin

anyway SPOP going strong on social media, many are following and tweeting about this show! hopefully the Netflix's He-Man shows will do same

It's a line I would have picked up if it were in a 6" or smaller scale, but even with just the four Mattel released- I don't really have the shelf space to devote to big dolls (my 1/6 scale Mondo MOTU dollies are another story... LOL).

Same -- a 6-inch line and I would have been in.

My brother collected this entire line. I would have if it was like the DC Super Hero Girls action figures.

Some proper actopn figures available at retail worldwide would have been cool.

I always expressed the hope that the show, and dolls, would feature more prettiness and, erm, girliness (is this okay to say anymore?). I don't know doll lines very well, but maybe if more of an Ever After High vibe had been infused. You know, pretty ethereal fantasy/fairy tale stuff, whimsy, but all very She-Ra/Etheria. And I mean this for both the show and toy line, since the toys reflected what appeared in the show of course.

Why are people assuming that this doll line has been discontinued?

I can't find anything anywhere that even remotely indicates that this is the case.

At Target in NYC, they sold out of them at Christmas time. People were getting them when they couldn't find Monster High or Superhero Girls dolls. I am not sure if they will restock. I personally think the doll line was a one time thing to support the show.

The fact that these were supposed to be released here in Canada by Christmas but never were suggests to me that sales weren't strong enough in the US. I finally broke down and ordered the She-ra doll online.

Never watched the new show but found a She-Ra doll at Target for $4. My niece is going to either love or hate it -- a great, inexpensive addition to her birthday gifts.

Well that's interesting! I assumed they gave up on the line. Glad to see it getting another go! Maybe some new dolls or also an action figure line as well! (crosses fingers)
Awesome new Fantasy RPG 5E/D&D magazine coming and you can pre-order at the link below!

Nice! Hopefully they'll make some more characters like Scorpia, Mermista, Perfuma, and Entrapta!

If we do see more, it'd have to be like a tie in with season five or something. Idk, I really hope we get Entrapta, Scorpia, Hordak, Mara, and Queen Glimmer. And I also really hope we get outfit packs of the Princess Prom looks.

Do we know- are these just the same ones in the same scale as what already came out at Target, but with a wider release? Or are these somehow different?

These look to be the same figures as before. Mattel might just be trying to unload their remainder stock at their warehouse since Target didn't have as many follow up orders as they might have anticipated and they never got a wide release with other major chains like Wal-Mart. I doubt they decided to make more figures of these 4 since they were clearanced out at Target.

They appear to be the same ones. Don't take my previous post/the images as any kind of commentary on the status of the doll line. -- We likely have to wait until New York Toy Fair for confirmation on whether or not there will be new She-Ra and the Princesses of Power items from Mattel.

This is a just a pre-order and another option (besides eBay, Amazon etc.) for getting existing SPOP dolls now that they are gone at most Target locations. For anyone that's interested: Orders are due by March 2nd. There is an order form in the Previews catalog and online that you can take to your local comic book shop, though they should be able to help you even without a form in-hand.

My niece is having a birthday coming up and I an still only find these on the US Amazon! Still nothing on .de or .co.uk

Pretty puzzling that they're seemingly not pushing these out in to the European market?

Nothing at ToyFair for these dolls. If Mattel isn't trying to sell anything to the retailers this year, the line has to be over.

Yes, it seems like the line is over...

But maybee we will see something tomorrow... if it‘s Target exclusive, they don‘t need other retailers!

There is still hope... but not much

They got to most of the 'main' characters though, didn't they? Adora/She-Ra, Bow, Glimmer, Catra?

So it's mainly the secondary princesses and characters like Scorpia that didn't get a doll, which I'm sure they would have done had the line been sucessful enough.

I guess we can conclude it wasn't a massive success. But then again, the availability was pretty poor seeing as they didn't even seem to distribute these outside of North America.
