I like to think I might smack in the middle of what I call the "He-Man Generation:" right in between Gen X and Gen Y. I go to DragonCon every year (this is my 10th year) and it made me think about what pop-culture I primarily care about, and the answer that came to me a few years ago was MOTU. I have a lot of thoughts about how it contributed to "re-mix culture" with standard bodies with different paint-jobs/tweaks being the main aesthetic method for character creation in this world. I'm currently working on a "Haute Couture Squelettoure" (high fashion Skeletor) costume for this year's DragonCon but I have so many ideas it's hard to narrow it down (and find time to do them).
I signed up for this site a while ago, but as I'm trying to work on projects in earnest now, I will try to be more active (though, I have appreciated the birthday wishes I get each year ).

Great introduction, your high fashion Skeletor costume sounds very interesting!! Please share photos when you're finished as we'd love to see it!! As you know, we have the best He-Fans and She-Ravers around and as always, we have great ongoing MOTU and POP discussions, so feel free to join in the conversation!!
