Can I ask why Burbee was chosen as an accessory? Its a rather random choice.

Still on the fence about it. It's cool, but I'm not sure if I can justify it.

Here is a large gallery of He-man figure, also featuring the Skeletor Alcala head: http://www.actionfigureinsider.com/m...tible-figures/

I have to say Alcala head looks strange on Skeletor in the pictures, I do not know if it is the lighting or what. Or maybe its just the colour as they insist making it greenish instead of pale yellow from comics? I like the idea of these toys, but they are not quite 100% pleasing to my eye. I would have gone Skeletor alone at most, and now that even Alcala head is part of He-man box, its just no for me. Will be interesting to see them in Collector's hands however.

I love the inclusion of Burbee! I have never understood why people think more cutesy things like that can't exist in a fictional barbarian world.

IMO Skeletor looks off because of the way his hood and the neckline of his armor are executed. Instead of a hood, he looks like heís wearing a bonnet. Or maybe his neck is too long? It feels like where the hood flares out at the bottom should rest more on his shoulders. Your mileage may vary of course, but Skeletor just looks super off to me.

He-Man on the other end is epic epic epic.

I think I will find more value in these two figures, bonnet complaints included, than I will with snake mountain....

Yes! Thatís what it is. I was having difficulty naming it, but thatís the thing. As I said on fb, Each of these figures has enough weirdness (he manís leather skirt, skeletorís hood) that I canít convince myself to buy in at that price point. Merman looks more promising. Cheers to all the folks who like them, though.

Iím down with the leather skirt. Fur at this scale looks dopey. Too many flyaway hairs that wouldnít exist scaled up.

Merman, I have reservations on... he looks sorta stumpy in the torso. I think his armor is too bulky. But Iíve only seen the one photo so I havenít judged yet; really looking forward to more previews.

Really pleased to have placed an order for He-Man. Can anyone tell me what kind of packaging these figures will come in? Thanks for your help.

For those disliking the leather loincloth...

I hope Brock will confirm this, but I remember hearing that He-Man has a sculpted furry loincloth underneath the leather so that he can be displayed either way.

That's what I'm curious about. I know a lot of Mint on card collectors want certain figures sealed in a bubble, glued to a card. I like the idea of having packaging that allows you to remove the figure, and put them back without damaging the packaging. With figures this big, I hope they come packaged in a way where they can be removed and displayed without damaging the packaging.
