I did, although like you I don't know where it's going to go.
Maybe one of the kids will move out by then and I can use their room.

I ordered from Comics and Cocktails, but I'm not using their payment plan. Just squirelling away £45 a month for the next 15 months for it.
It shouldn't be too hard to save the money if I buy less Transformers. It's not as if it's going to release on time, right?

I really liked the look of Leech, Clampchamp, Mosquitor, Snout Spoiut and Stinkor.

It's been quiet here in Thundera lately. So is this lair gonna hit the first tier? A little over nine days left with a good 650 backers needed.

I don't know if pictures are still up, but back in 2005, someone here disassembled a Hordak staction and gave it some articulation. He posted it in the customs section of the forums.

Didn't he use strong magnets at the shoulders and hips to simulate articulation?

Not sure if i seen those specific pics but I did see some pics where someone looked to have attached various Staction parts onto a basic 200X He-Man figure buck to give them some articulation.

Just checked Super7 on a whim and its currently at:

3393 backers - so its passed the 3000 goal with early backers getting the Key to Thundera

6 days left and the next tier is 4000 for 1 Sword Of Omens, 1 Claw Shield & 1 Lab Set

I want to put my order in but I honestly can't think of where I'm gonna put it. Even after I build a display case for my castle and mountain, this thing is so huge that I habe no idea where I'd build a d put a case. Hell the case will have to be like 4 ft deep according to the dimensions.

It's literally like finding a place in the room for a new chair / love seat...

I mean, it's a good problem to have, but many folks don't have a dedicated space like that!

I said the same thing when I ordered my Haslab Sentinels, Galactus, Unicron, HISSes, Dragonfly....but when they arrived, I found room or will make room.

I bought a Skiff Barge and ended up selling it cause I thought I couldn't find room for it and I have regretted it almost every day. Had I just waited a few months and made some room, I'd still have it. My advice is if you want it, can afford it, but don't have the room...buy it. You'll regret it if you pass on it.

Agreed - years back I passed on the DC Direct Batman: TAS Batcave due to lack of space and regretted it as it soon went out of stock and was impossible to get (plus it was the only way to get the Alfred figure), it took me years of searching eBay and conventions to manage to find one for a decent price - I still haven't got room to put it on display and its currently in the box in a closet but one day I will be able to

You're right. This is the only time I'm taking advice from a bone head.

Cats Lair is currently at 3,933 backers with less than 4 hours to go. It would be funny if it were to end with 3,999 backers, being just one shy of the 4,000 stretch goal.

The Tier 1 unlock should have been included with the lair from the beginning.

It's like unlocking wheels for the Thundertank after the body of the vehicle was backed, smh.

Well I wasn't counting on what I said happening. Just thought it would be funny as a what if scenario.

I would be cautious about getting it direct from Super7. It's $750 including postage, but for something that monstrous you're bound to be stung at customs. The VAT alone on Cat's Lair would be upwards of $130 (more if they charge VAT on the postage as well - which they shouldn't but, you know).
The only interest-free installment plan that S7 offer seems to be four installments - which is still a lot of money to find.

Comics and Cocktails have it for £735. You just need the 10% deposit (£73.50) when you order. There is a 12-month interest free payment plan at £60 a month.

Thanks, I went with C&C in the end. I was still 50/50 on it, I guess I'm just not that passionate about Cats Lair than I am with MOTU playsets, but its a one time deal, and I'd only regret not buying it, so just ordered it

Agreed the Stactions were a breath of fresh air. I loved the size variation and the look was gold standard.
