LOL. I don't think you could hurt me anymore painful than having to listen to Luna's voice.

If it is only 4 waves of 4 figures I will be happy as long as they at least complete the core team/main season one cast of heroes and villains. And Pumyra, Bengali and Lynxo. Anyone after them is just an added bonus.

If they made everyone from the Minimates line a few years back, I’d be very happy! Loyal Subjects also did a nice job of getting out the essentials. Don’t let us down, Super7!

I can be friendly on IG! I’m like Tygra in The Garden Of Delights here... needing a Thundercats fix! I’m calling it right now, Tygra comes with hallucinogenic fruit as a pack-in accessory! Also, everyone should tell me everything they know about this new line!

You know Silky was actually Mumm-Ra in disguise.... mmmm not sure we can trust you with this information. How much money is in your account? Hopefully a lot of Thunderian Dollars. This fix is gonna cost you....

Original characters? The Duelist, the Drifter, Tookit, Leo, Panthera, etc.
Or how would you feel about them using obviously superior 20XX designs for certain characters over original? Like Driller or King Claudus?
But any room for any 20XX in the line? Thoughts?
My ideal take is this - do with Thundercats Classics what Mattel did with Masters of the Universe Classics - cherry pick from all the available source material to give us the best possible overall line and story.

For the most part this means using characters and designs from the 80's cartoon. But I think there's room to tweak the narrative a tad to include some of the good ideas from the 2011 cartoon. I'll admit to liking the Claudus (Clawdus?) design from 2011 better. But Dobo was a great character and design, so repurpose his story for third earth. Likewise include the likes of Javan, Tookit, Horus, the Duelist, and Gormax. And then turn to the ancestral Thundercats - Leo, Panthera, Tygus (also Shen and Rezard). There were cool elephant people, and bird people... tons of cool stuff to dip into.

One of my very favorite things about MOTUC was the way it married all of the various source materials and disparate canon into one narrative to be able to include as much cool stuff as possible. In doing it that way you can keep the Robinson Crusoe style exploration after crash landing on Third Earth - and leave behind the Thundercat society as evil opressors - but still wrap in Dog City or the floating bird city Avista or the Elephant Village.

There was plenty of creative and interesting stuff introduced in the 2011 toon that I would love to have represented in a comprehensive figure line. Let the 4 Horsemen do their thing to "Classicize" the designs so they mesh with the designs from the original toon and away we go.

I'm certain that Super 7 will be doing figures based entirely on the 80's cartoon and that's fine and almost certainly smart. But that doesn't mean I won't be wishing for some of those cool characters from the 2011 cartoon. (I actually already started customizing a Dobo figure using a spare Jackalman body and a modified head from the Power Rangers Kruger figure).

Eager to see what Super 7 has to say today. I plan to talk to them about it as long as I can at Power Con on Saturday too.

Read my message again and start shipping that Thundrillium. The hint is in there.

Hmmmmm Ok. I’m intrigued and having some ideas... which I will keep to myself in case they are spot on. Of course if I keep them to myself, I can just SAY they were spot on later and no one will ever know any differently...Maybe you are right, I’m not to be trusted.

Silky got to you. I expected as much.

Gotta say I love your ideas on how to incorporate the 2011 characters. Do talk to them and share their feedback after the show.

I wonder if they will have the figures on display at PowerCon. I’m glad this reveal is happening so close to an event where fans will be able to talk to Brian, ask more questions, give feedback, etc.

PS I’m trying really hard to shake the effects of Silky and her forbidden fruits and be patient... though my finger may fall off soon from hitting refresh so many times!

Have another fruit. It will give you strength. If you have kids, put them to work and teach them how to refresh while you sit back and take it all in

Hahaha No kids, but I do have cats... I’ll let you know how the training goes!

It would be amazing to see a potential Mumm-ra figure come with some
of his disguised forms like Silky. And wasn’t he a fly once too?? And psychedelic fruit should absolutely come with Tygra, as well as candy fruit coming with Snarf or Berbils.
