Personally, I would make the solid Jaga the variant, and the ghost Jaga the regular figure....

Well I know it is always in Brian's mind/plan wharever, it is just nice to see some sort of a physical form alluded to it.

I was watching one of Pixel Dan's old reviews of a SDCC exclusive Lion-O and the figure came with a plastic Sword of Omens display stand. It got me thinking what if Super 7 put together a Weapons/Accessories pack similar to MOTU Classics. You could include the two swords the Mumm-Ra action figure came with, Warp grenades for Slithe, and maybe even Snarfer, since one of the Classics weapons pack included a Kowl. Just throwing it out there as thought.

I think you've got great ideas - sometimes the accessories and other bits and pieces really add flavour to a toyline.

I would love if by paying a little more that with each figure they'd throw in a diorama/playset piece, kind of like a Build-A-Playset thing so that by the end of the line you'd have your own Cats' Lair, or something.

Don't think they'd be able to do that though without charging heaps for each figure....

Yeah, personally, I think that these figures are already way over-priced, so adding more money to each figure would be the final nail in the coffin for many fans.

They are doing a multi-day virtual convention starting today at 9am PST, I think. So hopefully some news will be forthcoming during those sessions. Last I heard, wave 1 is still supposed to ship "within the next few weeks".

I'm still wondering if there will be a SDCC exclusive this year for the line. There weren't any Thundercats silhouette teases on their FB page though for any of the days of the stay-at-home con. I guess we will know for sure by Saturday.

I'm not expecting any new reveals, since Bryan has (rightfully) said that he didn't want to talk about more future releases before Wave 1 was in fans' hands.

But maybe we'll be pleasantly surprised. While I think the delay in TCats releases is bordering on the ridiculous, I still wouldn't say no to seeing a Wave 4 reveal (or even a tease).

The wait has been eternal, at this point Super7 should've shown us the final production figures or color samples, as they did with TMNT, but nothing.
I hope they aren't hiding some fiasco from us.

Yup... as mentioned in other Super 7 threads, their business model needs some fine-tuning.

"Hey! I know you called your order in an hour ago for pick up, but we had a bit of a delay and the cook is just now starting on it."

"While you wait, why don't you go ahead and pay for your dessert now, and we'll have it sent to your house by the end of next week."

"Hey! I'm really sorry that you still haven't gotten your dinner yet."

I made TC Wave 1 Ultimate purchases and Wave 1 Reaction purchases. I’ve sat on my wallet after that. I’m patient. But I only invest so much without return.

How long has it been, tho? Pre-order was in September 2019, right? So almost a year at this point, ugh...and S7 said this line was supposed to come out with waves every three months like clock work. Well, I believe that when I see it

I’m not going to beat them up on the timeline. Manufacturing shut down as well as shipping. Logistics became a horror show and that’s not even accounting for spikes in shipping rates.

But all that said, and even understanding Super 7’s “pay it backward” model, I can’t justify additional investment before getting product in hand.
