I like em, don’t know if I’d buy though. I’m out on the blind bag idea...

Why the hell don’t they release motu in imaginext? That is an established brand with a huge kid and adult following. Just dumb.
I would kill for an Imaginext Masters of the Universe!

Oh great....ANOTHER product that requires me to stand in a toy isle "feeling up" bags for god knows how long to ensure I get what I want/don't get doubles.
Good thing I don't embarrass easily!

Good luck; these will come in individual Castle Grayskull clamshells, sobtherell be no “feeling up” bags.

I’m in for these; I’ll trade or give away the ones I double up with. I NEED a Stinkor, though: I’m going to customize an Odiphus with his head on an extra Kowl body since we probably won’t get him in MOTUC at this point.

Hmmm then individual e-bay buys it will be.
I find it cheaper to do that than hope to trade/sell doubles.

Despite being a fan of deformed styling...I don't know that I like these enough to go after them*...but Stinkor? Anything for Stinkor!

*this could absolutely change if I see them in person

At $5 I'll buy these all day long. Loved the previous minis, but I do kinda wish these were the original articulated 4H minis that had ball joints and such. But I'm down for more minis to go with my previous ones and the price is fantastic!

I think kids will gobble these up. Even if they don't know the property, the blind box element and cool colorful characters will get them on board.

I think the minis style and price tag is much more appealing for kids than Origins.

They did get boos when they announced blind bag distribution and said they had been rethinking that and weren’t settled on it.

If they’re blind bag, I wouldn’t buy any. I might eBay buy commons and I’d DEFINITELY be down for playsets, which I’d use with MCX since I like the figs but am iffy on the construction block format.

I’d just want playsets to be old toy scale so roughly 6-7 inch tall. A bit cartoony like the clamshells seen here but not as cartoony as the Collect and Connect minis Grayskull. On the order of the Nanofigs playsets.

Wait, no articulation in these like the old ones? Is this confirmed?

Hoping they are prepping another wave of these with the She-ra and Horde Trooper, and the Hordak and Orko we had concept drawings for.

Teela and Evil-lyn are obvious holes, too.

I wonder if since they are blind bags, there will be ultra rare ones like Disco Skeletor and Mini-Comic Trap Jaw. They are the rare ones from this first wave, maybe?

No, there is articulation. I never said there wasn't. It has the exact same articulation as the MOTU Minis 2.0 that were released on MattyCollector.

But those figures had reduced articulation from the original larger MOTU Minis and those had even more reduced articulation from the original 4H MOTU Mini prototypes. It would have been cool if they were going to re-launch the line if it would have had the original 4H articulation. But at $5 I can see why they went with the more limited articulation of the previous MOTU Minis.

Ok cool, so they’ll match the collection I already have.

I am glad these are coming back. I love these little suckers.
Coming straight out of Preternia, tribal chieftess and the original WARRIOR GODDESS, SHARELLA!!!

Sharella needs her day in Classics. She is the only remaining vintage POG character that needs a figure.
    Support Sharella for Collectors Choice!

My top 5 wants for MOTUC: Sharella, Hunga the Harpy, Sagitar, Snake Goddess & Red Beast

I still need the previous releases they'd been cancelled by the time I found about them, so i didn't bother getting them as there wasn't enough of them to spark my interest. I hadn't paid the minis much thought, but I surprised myself with how much I like them after reading this thread.

They’re pretty great, I was bummed when they cancelled series 2 originally.
