Yeah, it'd be great to play that game with a controller. Those touchscreen controls were for the birds.

They did get boos when they announced blind bag distribution and said they had been rethinking that and weren’t settled on it.

If they’re blind bag, I wouldn’t buy any. I might eBay buy commons and I’d DEFINITELY be down for playsets, which I’d use with MCX since I like the figs but am iffy on the construction block format.

I’d just want playsets to be old toy scale so roughly 6-7 inch tall. A bit cartoony like the clamshells seen here but not as cartoony as the Collect and Connect minis Grayskull. On the order of the Nanofigs playsets.

I was there as well and pretty much the whole crowd boo'd and groaned when this was mentioned. The moderator even asked Mattel if they heard that! A good question was asked that if they were blind boxed could they at least guarantee a complete set with a sealed case.

I was thinking of getting rid of my Matty ones a few months back, good job I've kept them, they really are nice figures. i really want Buzz-Off, Trapjaw and Jitsu.

I still need the previous releases they'd been cancelled by the time I found about them, so i didn't bother getting them as there wasn't enough of them to spark my interest. I hadn't paid the minis much thought, but I surprised myself with how much I like them after reading this thread.

BBTS has series 1 stock still if you need them. I just saw them today as I was double checking the PC figures release date. They just don't seem to have the slightly larger He-Man/Skeletor Con Set that started things. They have all 6 of the sets with the Castle Greyskull CnC parts in it.

The price is definitely what sunk the line previously alot of the left overs popped up on e-bay from Chinese sellers.

All of these blind items have some type of code that tells exactly what is in them they have to know what they are packing at the factory.

I finally opened and (re)displayed my Mattycollector set about 1-2 months ago....

I'm looking forward to getting these; even blindboxed. I mean for $5 for a MOTU figure with a neat mini Castle Grayskull case we can't lose can we? We can trade each other and/or give them to our kids (grandkids for me) and not feel too bad about "wasting" money.

Mekaneck and Webstor (was part of wave 2 with actual samples figures shown.)
Orko and Hordak (was part of wave 2 but only shown in art.)

Maybe Mekaneck can't fit into the blind box Grayskull case? But if that is the situation, hopefully they figure something out.

You said it. We need these to do well so more are released. I have the first wave and have been hoping for more, and you can’t go wrong with the $5 price.
