    I'm all in for these!

Price point is exactly in the range blind-boxed toys should be offered in. I always loved the designs, passed on the MattyCollector sets because those were ridiculously overpriced. I also never liked the collect-and-connect diorama pieces, so I won't miss those at all.

    Count me in, Mattel!

They were way overpriced, but I snagged them when Matty had them on clearance for half price.

No, I believe Wave 2 is going to match Wave 1, with the SDCC being larger.

Anyone know when the minis are supposed to be released? I’m almost more excited for these than Origins. Almost.

I believe its fall, just like the Origins line. The only MOTU from Mattel before fall are the Megaconstrux and maybe the windraider hotwheel.

I doubt I'll be buying into this, but they look cool, and I hope they provide a cheap entry point for new fans.

Also, I wonder why Slime Pit He-Man's seen so much usage lately

I think people dig translucent stuff, and it’s an easy way for the company to reuse a mold.

I think either Samurai Man at Arms or Serpent Claw Man at Arms from the 200X line.

Or maybe some sort of Anti-Man at Arms from a future issue of Masters of the Multiverse (this is just speculation based on his placement)

Yeah I think it could be Serpent Claw Man-At-Arms.

I always did like that color scheme on him (if not the accessories).

Can anyone with one of the old minis and anything using the Origins buck take a pic of them next to each other? If we are getting the Keldor Skeletor two pack, I'll probably make a Masters of the Multiverse display, so I'm thinking about using the He-Man from this as Looking Up/Tappers of Grayskull He-Man.

I just ordered the minis that were released years ago on eBay -- I can do measurements on those if that helps.

I just hate blind boxed figures. I don't have the time or money to throw away and buy 9 trapjaws to get the one faker I want.

Even at Powercon it got really awkward when they announced these were blind boxed but they didn't even bother to take the feedback.

The thing is, kids love them. There's like a whole psychology thing behind it, relating to dopamine levels or something. I don't remember the specifics, but apparently they're like plastic crack to most children.

I personally am not really a fan of blind boxes/bags, but these are largely for children. In the interview with Pixel Dan, Britt Shots even said that these are targeted towards a younger demographic than Origins.

So it looks like Beastman, Stinkor, and Faker are part of Wave 2.

    The rest are Wave 1?

Who all is chase? Horde Zombie He-man is on the Wave 1 box, but Mini-comic Trap Jaw, Serpent Claw MAA, and Disco Skeletor are not. Are those three chase, and HZ He-man is a regular release???

I really wish we'd get MOTU in 3.75" "G.I. Joe" type scale.
