I do the same for Revelation, which has brought me so much more joy than not. I choose to focus on the positives - which unequivocally outweigh the negatives in my book.
Well there's nitpicking and then there's just plain ole I don't like it.

    Things I disliked about Revelation:
The portrayal of almost every character (MAA the sole exception). Most notably He-man, Skeletor, and Tri-Klops.
He-man is no longer the sole Champion of Castle Grayskull. Why? Was he doing a poor job?
New character Andra being a main character and becoming a main character in the lore. Why was this necessary?

    Things I hated about Revelation
    :
Evil Warriors were all basically jokes.
    Evil-lyn/Skeletor sex scene.
    He-man attempting to kill Skeletor
Beast-man, Sorceress, Moss man, Roboto, Clamp Champ, and Fisto all dead? This is a good thing?
He-man was not the end champion. Skeletor not the main villain. They were a side note in the overall story. They even have He-man say it out loud.

    And those previews...
The "previews" which, for some unknown reason, really liked highlighting He-man's actions. The second one really tricked me.

Yes, he died, and lost the power sword! He-Man definitely deserves a performance citation at the very least!

New character Andra being a main character and becoming a main character in the lore. Why was this necessary?
This was necessary to make you go nuts. Mission accomplished.

Evil Warriors were all basically jokes.
Seemed easily dispatched as many Filmation monsters!

    Evil-lyn/Skeletor sex scene.
Wasn't quite a sex scene, but there's a current segment of the internet that is very happy with this!

    He-man attempting to kill Skeletor
You just burned my dear Moss Man to death Skeletor in front of me! Now you're getting a stern talking to!

Beast-man, Sorceress, Moss man, Roboto, Clamp Champ, and Fisto all dead? This is a good thing?
I don't think Beast-Man is dead. Sorceress is a force ghost. Roboto - we can rebuild him! Fisto and Clamp Champ dead? Who cares! I kid! I kid!

He-man was not the end champion. Skeletor not the main villain.
End Champion and End Villian they both were.... just not the only ones.

Now list the stuff you liked Dice! You said you liked things in Revelation. Let's hear em!

I knew super-fan would swoop in to tell me why my opinions were wrong

Yeah He-man died. In Revelation! You can't use poop to explain poop!

I'm not nuts over Andra, that's for sure.

    He-man can't control his emotions

End Champions? They have no result on the battle! Didn't you hear He-man? "It's not about us!"

I liked how they overall portrayed Duncan's abilities.
I liked a lot of the easter eggs they threw into the series.
    I loved Evil-lyn's voice acting.
I liked the way Cringer was portrayed through the entire series. In fact, his portrayal was probably my favorite of any character.
I liked them showing Point Dread in its separate location.
I very much enjoyed the artwork and rich backgrounds.
I loved seeing the classic vehicles through the show.
    That's about it.

Super-fan. I like the sound of that.

But yep. It's the same usual suspects here on both sides. And we're all often repeating ourselves at this point.

Really? I'm not surprised though. The film that won Cannes this year was Titane. Lets just say it was about a woman who did something similar with a car... yeah. It wasn't a bad movie. It was actually tons better than the Skeletor/Evil-Lyn scene.

I don't know... super glue and fur don't go well together. If he gets that spot of glue caught on something, it's really going to hurt when it yanks all that hair out.

Well overall the point of my post is that for some of us, we aren't just picking "little" things out and making a big deal. We honestly did not like the product we were given.

I think it makes it even worse to see the potential that was there to be so much more.

Mer-Man was turned to stone and shattered the same way by Snake Face. Skeletor magically reassembled him before turning him back to flesh and blood. Seriously, the way some of you carry on about deaths in this show like any of them cannot be undone.

But if they bring everyone back then how will they explain any future death not being undone? I mean bringing back Fisto and Clamp Champ? If you can do that why couldn't you bring back anyone and everyone?

I know, you are right. I ran around town with a megaphone crying for everyone to hear. It was pathetic, really.

I think you need to look up the phrase 'carrying on' in the dictionary as I certainly didn't carry on. I even joked about it a post later, so I clearly couldn't have been that upset.

    Seriously. You're always so rude.

    What I disliked about Revelations
    Episode 1
Too short way too much story should have been a two-parter
The sorcerer's being tricked so easily. They really should have thought that one through better. A simple hostage situation would have worked better
Mossman's cheap death.. Even if smells like pine was EPIC.
He-Man intentionally trying to stab Skeletor.NEVER AGAIN..
    The ending,again pacing....
Dishonorable mention to the way Skeletor announces everybody's name like he recorded it separately....

What I liked about episode 1

The backgrounds, the music, the animation, the action scenes. Queen marlena's under breath warning to Adam
Cringer Orko Evil Lynn the new transformation sequence.
Classic vehicles and awesome looking Beast Man in Bashasorus.

What I disliked about episode 2

No glove no Love enough Said.
If it's been years since the events of episode 1 why is Teela still coming off as super angry? Upset yes,not trusting yes, still comes off a little harsh being told if she doesn't do this the universe will end.

What I liked about episode 2

The animation, the music, the backgrounds,
Cringers speech to Teela. The action scenes.
Triclops Psalm about motherboard "to live and diode" hilarious...
    Blast attack fantastic
    The "death" of trap jaw?

What I disliked about episode 3

Beast man's reintroduction as a giant loyal talking dog
    Merman's voice -where's the bubbles?

What I liked about episode 3
The animation the music the backgrounds pretty much all the dialogue except for Beast man's "Muh lady" all the action scenes are great again Man at arms kicking everybody's butts on the boat even if that was a little silly.
    The faceless ones armor

What I disliked about episode 4

Teela's bad girl speech to Scare glow was way too cheesy
Beast Man losing his mind just because he was separated from Evil Lynn.

What I liked about episode 4

Scare glow!!! Tony Todd is the man.. I don't think they could have made him any better than they did here. The mystery surrounding the character was excellent especially that insinuation that he knew who Skeletor was ONCE...

Roboto chewing gum and taking names and ripping the one-liners left right and center...

    Evil Lynn and Orko bonding

Orko taking on scare glow like a champ and unfortunately dying...

Cringer seeing Adam again oh the feels....

This one was probably one of my favorite episodes of the entire series...

What I disliked about episode 5

I don't know about you, but if I see someone who's been dead for a few years I'm probably going to go up and hug them first. Then I'll tear into them...
Skeletor s speech at the end about not having a face. If he's not Keldor the whole thing was dumb.
Race swapping KG who cares, not necessary...

What I liked about episode 5

Skeletor stabbing He-Man what a cliffhanger..

Roboto's final speech..and his humor in the series

Seeing the Eternia playset, Wundar,Vikor, King Grayskull
The action, the music, the animation, the backgrounds.

That depends entirely on the nature of the death, does it not?

car·ry on intransitive verb. To continue or persevere.

Is that not what the same five people are doing with regard to reversible character deaths?

But you copied my post. I think that's the first time I've mentioned death in part 2 for sure. Maybe I said something in passing about death in part 1, maybe. I know I commented about Smith bragging that he killed He-Man twice, but that wasn't a comment on his death, but on Smith's bragging about it and his attitude towards the audience. And that was back in July/early August.

So now, I wasn't continuing or persevering with talk about characters dying.

There's "they can bring anyone back" and there's "it depends". I would say that if they could bring back Fisto and Clamp Champ, who suffered physical destruction and death plus soul destruction(?), then I could not see there being any limits.

Who said their souls were destroyed? Skeletor specifically stated that he sent their souls to Subternia. Numerous people have returned from both Preternia and Subternia.

    I think that:

    Roboto can be rebuilt
Moss Man can transcend his Preternia bonds
    Faker can also be rebuilt
    Beast Man didn't actually die
    Blast-Attack can also be rebuilt
Clamp Champ & Fisto can be granted safe passage back to Eternia

    and

    The Sorceress fulfilled her destiny...

Oh, and Panthor had a litter of kittens.
