    Yeah... it stinks.

Just when I thought Super 7 hit a rhythm in their manufacturing/shipping/distribution, they stumble again (and again, and again...)

I wonder how many "pre-orders" they will be offering around the time of SDCC?

I use the new heads. I like the personality in the sculpts.

I got an email about Slash. But I have the bubble walker Krang on preorder and didn’t get a note about him…it seems like he’s very late as it is though.
Please check out my custom figures. The first few stink but I get better.

I also wrote a fanfic. See the fanfic board. At least four people like it.

I have separate pre-orders for pretty much all TMNT Ultimates and they have all been pushed back to September-October, so it would be most likely November-December alongside some G.I.Joe Classified.

I'm concerned with some other Ultimate lines such as SilverHawks and G.I.Joe, since those have not yet seen the light of day yet and they were all scheduled to be released last month
Great trade orgers: Son of Keldor - sdilks -JeMaBo2 x3 - Kowl - Bigassbuzz (Hyveofvillany) - Queen Marlena - mikescab - whitespyders

$65 a pop. Nope. And look how much you save if you buy the bundle. What a deal.

I'd rather they strengthen the hip/crotch assembly on the Turtles and re-offer them without all the extras at a lower cost.

    Maybe even a 4-Pack...

Super 7 could also correct the sai holders on Raphael's belt. As usual the gebius sculptors/designers at Super 7/4 Horsemen sculpted the belt to look like the vintage toy, yet gave him sais a different shape compared to the vintage toy design.

That's actually a really good deal...

I guess the GITD Mutagen Man wasn't such a hot item if they're adding him to an outlet discount.

Yeah, it's basically four figures for less than the price of two lol.

Wish they’d just sell a Mutagen Man for $25/$30.

I already have the others, and multiples at that.

I'm still on the hunt for him, but EE has very expensive international shipping, and Argentina once again has some international purchases restrictions, so I have to be careful on what and when to get figures for my collection

I think that the only way they can get rid of him is by bundling him with other, more desirable figures...

Nah see. I had a feeling I was right. The wave 5 is on its way and should be here with the wave 5 cats or soon after.

I was expecting for a Toon Shredder version in this line but this is just disappointing. Other figures look ok, but I'll definetely be skipping Silver Shredder

Not even a cloth cape. It just looks like a lazy repaint

    Some initial thoughts.

Brian Flynn said Wave 8 and Wave 9 would be more of what people expect. I don't see that here.

This is objectively the weakest wave so far. I like it, but it's weak.

2 or 3 variants depending on if you count Robotic Rocksteady as a variant.

8 Waves in and still no Ratking? I'm shocked. Is Ratking the new Ram Man or Sorceress?

Shredder: I have no idea what this figure is. I think it's meant to be the Toon Shredder but the paint is wrong and the tooling is wrong - no loin cloth.

It's like MOTUC Battleground/200x Evil Lynn. Complete fail on every level.

The paint looks good, I like the silver. I love the alt head. I like that he comes with a can of mutagen.

Definitely a huge and rare miss by Super 7 in concept and execution.

I can't remember being this confused on a figure since Mattel and Scott Neitlich during MOTUC.

Space Cadet Raph: This figure looks great. I always liked the original, but I never loved it. This figure is how you update a vintage figure; lots of new deco and new accessories.

The laser sais and sword are awesome. The dehydrated/ziplocked pizza is goofy and awesome. The alien being a separate pet instead of part of the figure is cool. The alt stormtrooper style helmet is better than the vintage head in my opinion.

All out win on a figure that wasn't high on my list.

Robotic Rocksteady: Price increase sucks, but that's inflation for you in the current economy. That being said thhe size and scale of this guy is stunning. Robotic Bebop could end up being top 5 for me, Rocksteady looks almost as good. Disappointed in no battle damaged parts.

Genghis Frog: Finally. One of my big wants left to be made. He looks awesome. The new deco adds a lot to the caracter.

I will say something feels off. It may be the extra sculpted details or the extra paint apps.

I love that he finally has hands sculpted to hold the gun. Bebop and Rocksteady needed those.

The alt head is lacking. The tongue is not a frog tongue. It should be a copy of Storm Collectibles MK Reptile's tongue.

I still think he looks great though.

    ------

With increasing costs and these last few waves having lots off oddball choices, I hope Wave 9 is all fan favorites.

Super7 has really slowed down with the Ultimates pre-orders lately.
