    From the Power-Con website:
Pixel Dan has been sent an early sample of the upcoming Masters of the Universe Origins "Lords of Power" 5-Pack that is exclusive to Power-Con. Thank you to Mattel for sending him a review sample!

We hope to have the Power-Con 2020 exclusives in-hand by mid-December. Once we have received them, then BigBadToyStore will be sent their allocation. After that, we will begin packing and shipping exclusives to those of you who pre-ordered them. Given that the holidays are fast approaching and we will be spending time with family at the end of December, we probably will not complete shipping until around mid-January. After that, delivery to you will depend on the speed of USPS.

Also, we will soon be sending out a request for any shipping address updates. Please keep an eye out for that notice in case you need to update your shipping address! We'll also have some other Power-Con updates posted this week.
Please see our FAQ for answers to other commonly asked questions.

In the meantime please check out Pixel Dan's look at the awesome MOTU Origins "Lords of Power" 5-Pack from Mattel, and thank you to all of you for your patience and your support of Power-Con:

    PANEL INFORMATION

All panels are being hosted through Zoom Webinar.
If you have an account that you have already created through Zoom, that’s great! You can sign in to see the panels at their scheduled times using the links we post tomorrow (Friday, August 7th).
But if you have NOT registered on Zoom, that’s no problem! Approximately 15 minutes before a panel begins, click on that panel’s link. All you need to sign in is enter your name and your e-mail address. That’s it!

You have multiple ways you can view each panel, including through the Zoom app on your smart device, the browser on your desktop or laptop computer, or with the Zoom app on your desktop or laptop computer. Speaking of which, you will be prompted at one point to download and install the Zoom app after you visit the panel link. We highly suggest using the Zoom app on your desktop or laptop. That method tends to be the most reliable.

You do not need a webcam or a microphone. You’ll be interacting with panelists in the Chat where you can type to leave comments, and in the Q&A at the end of the panel where you can type questions for the panelists. IMPORTANT: For any comments or questions, keep them civil and polite. Anyone who fails to honor this will be removed from the panel room and will not be allowed to return. Thank you in advance for your understanding and cooperation!

Each panel will have a Q&A session at the end where you get a chance to ask the panelists your questions. And while we cannot guarantee yours question will be selected, you definitely don’t want to miss the chance to interact with the panelists.

Also, each panel offers a chance to win some awesome items! To be entered, all you need to do is watch the majority of that panel. It’s that simple! As long as you registered to watch the panel with a valid name and e-mail address, you will be automatically entered in a raffle where random winners will be selected next week.
If you qualify as a raffle entrant, then you agree to honor our Terms of the Raffles found below.

TERMS OF THE RAFFLES: each panel has a raffle to win free items. In order to be eligible to win, you have to stay for the majority of the panel, and you have to enter a valid e-mail address. Failure to do either of these will automatically disqualify you from being included in the raffle. The random drawings will take place next week. Power-Con will then contact the winners by e-mail. Winners have until Monday, August 24th to reply with any information requested in order to claim their prize. Failure to do so will result in forfeiture of the prize and no new winner will be selected. While we will make an effort to get your prize to you as quickly as possible, please note that prizes have no specified ship date and will be shipped when product is available. In the case of some products, like the Dark Horse toy guide for example, these will not be available to ship until some time in 2021. Also, the prizes are free. In addition, we will ship these to the winner at no additional cost. But for fans outside of the USA, we are not responsible for any customs or VAT fees issued by your country. Any fees placed on prices are the sole responsibility of the raffle prize recipient. Prizes must be received as-is. Damaged product, or product that shows as delivered but is claimed to be lost by the recipient, will not be replaced. Winners will not be announced to the public, and all decisions are final.

    GRAYSKULL TREASURE ROOM

Seeing new reveals on the show floor of Power-Con is part of the convention experience. So since we can’t do it in person for 2020, Mattel and Power-Con are doing some of it online!

The Grayskull Treasure Room is a 3D room where the user is standing in the middle and can turn 360 degrees around the room. In this room you will find various things you can click on. Some reveal images and slideshows, some reveals videos, and one is a contractual agreement that, when clicked on, automatically signs your entire collection over to Power-Con!
Okay, the last one isn’t real. But we hope the others offer you a fun way to see some of the awesome Masters of the Universe product from Mattel and some of its licensees.

The Grayskull Treasure Room will go live at 12:00pm Pacific Time, Saturday, August 8th!

IMPORTANT: we ask that you do NOT share anything you find in the room! We know the temptation is there. But having fans come themselves to discover the treasures in the room is extremely important! If a huge number of fans come check out the Grayskull Treasure Room, then it is more likely we will be able to build on this for 2021! That means more features, and maybe even things like prizes or links to special items you can only find in the treasure room to add to your collection.
So if you like what you see, then please share the Power-Con website link online and encourage other He-Man and She-Ra fans to come search through Grayskull themselves to uncover its secrets!

When it goes live, navigating the room is easy. All you do is press and hold on your screen on smart devices, or click and hold with your mouse on desktops and laptops, and you will move around the room depending on where you clicked. If you see something that looks interesting, then click on it! It might reveal a hidden secret.
    Important notes:
    1. We found the treasure room does not work well on Safari on iOS devices. If you use a iOS device, please use Chrome instead, and we apologize for any inconvenience.
    2. The treasure room might operate slowly on older operating systems. Our apologies if this is the case for you.
    3. If you are on a smart device and you visit the room in vertical (portrait) orientation, please do not turn your device to horizontal (landscape) orientation. If you do, you will need to refresh the room in order to re-calibrate the center axis on the screen.
    4. Even though there is a load screen with a logo, the room may still take a bit longer to load on some devices. Therefore, we recommend letting the room load for approximately 60 seconds before you begin to explore.

This is a new experience for us. We are learning from it, and hope to improve and build on it for 2021. That includes ironing out any glitches found along the way. We greatly appreciate your patience and support! And we hope you enjoy what we have to offer online for Power-Con 2020.

    Updated August 1, 2020:

    From the Power-Con site:

As we teased before, a Power-Con online event is coming next weekend, August 8th & 9th! This free online event will have two features.

The first is a Grayskull Treasure Room. This is an online room that you can explore to find images of and videos about upcoming Masters of the Universe product, along with some teasers and new reveals.

The second is our online panel room. Using Zoom, there will be several panels each day. Each will give you an intimate look at what’s coming for He-Man and the Masters! In addition, each panel will feature a Q&A session at the end for fans. Please note that due to time limitations, panelists may not be able to answer all questions.

In the interest of transparency, this experience is new for all of us. There may be some hiccups as we try this for the first time. And we’ll learn from this one what works, and what else you’d like to see added. If it goes well, this could be something we add to future Power-Con events for a nominal fee. But we’re giving you this first one for free!

We will have more information this coming week, along with any free registration requirements needed in order to participate. This event will only last the weekend and will be the only opportunity to see some content, as not all of it will be reposted online. In addition, fans who join us for the panels will be entered into a prize raffle. Each panel will have its own raffle so you have multiple chances to win. You don’t want to miss out!

So what about the Power-Con exclusives? We have a couple updates for those.

The most common question that we currently receive is “What will the packaging look like?” Some time this coming week, Mattel will do online reveals for the Power-Con exclusive packaging. So be sure to follow them on their various social media accounts so you don’t miss out:
    Instagram
    Facebook
    Twitter

Also, we have an update on shipping for the exclusives. As we forewarned, there might be a delay due to all that’s going on in the world. That has turned out to be the case. We now expect to receive the Power-Con exclusives this November. Once received, all exclusives will be shipped from November through December. Once shipped, arrival time will depend on the speed of USPS or the postal courier in your country. We apologize for the delay and we appreciate your patience and understanding.

We will post more updates as we have them. And we look forward to seeing you online next weekend, August 8th & 9th!

I love that it's earlier this year!
"I wouldn't be surprised if this movie has Adam as a skinny nerd from Earth battling another skinny nerd-hacker from Earth that used an alias of Keldor. They then enter Tron-style to a cyber world called Eternia, where they control muscle-bound avatars to battle (called He-Man and Skeletor). And these same avatars come to life and continue to battle in present-day Earth." - VZX

So Mattel seems pretty certain the movie is coming in 2021? I wish Sony or the Nee Brothers could offer us such assurance.

@ Wes2882: I could have written that sentence myself. Celebrating the 35th anniversary of
our beloved Princesses of Power in that manner would be so "Pawa-some".

I'm getting married in Auguest, but really hoping the stars can aline so I can come this year. I really hope the Power-Con exclusives will have a She-Ra Ra focus this year. A MOTUC Classic Toy themed She-Ra and Catra 2 pack would be epic, or a three pack of the original vintage 5.5 prototype Star Sisters would be such a love letter from Mattel to the POP fans. We got He-Ro and Eldor, from Super7, the prototype Star Sisters would be amazing and now we know Mattel have the original Star Sisters in their archive: (thanks to the guys who made the She-Ra barbie), it would be a perfect time to offer them perticularly considering they were revealed to the public a few years ago at Power-Con

I wouldn't get your hopes up for your proposed 3-pack any time soon. I'd love to see such a 3-pack, but it would be a tough sell this far into the line. That's probably something that would have to go up for crowd-funding where fan interest would determine if it would happen or not.

I don't want to lead anyone on, so let me be up-front that there aren't any MOTUC exclusives for Power-Con 2020. I fought for them, and Mattel was very understanding about it and is also aware of the interest from fans, but Classics aren't slotted in for 2020. I can't go into details, but Mattel explained the reasons to me about skipping 2020 and it made complete sense.

I'm all for more MOTUC! But, how/when more Classics is released is Mattel's call. They've put the line into hibernation for the time being, and 2020 is a big roll-out year for new product and entertainment which has Mattel's immediate focus.

So keep the faith alive for more Classics, and keep letting Mattel know you want them! And if you're willing to do crowd-funding to make MOTUC happen (which, IMO, is a possible scenario), please let Mattel know that as well.
Hope to see you at Power-Con 2020!

The transparency is appreciated! That said, best wishes to Mattel on Origins. I look forward to experiencing news first-hand at this years Power-Con.

They then enter Tron-style to a cyber world called Eternia, where they control muscle-bound avatars to battle (called He-Man and Skeletor). And these same avatars come to life and continue to battle in present-day Earth." - VZX

Thanks for the responce Val, it's a real shame MOTUC is totally off the table .....even for Power-Con, But good on you for trying for the fans. I would be all up for crowd funding if Mattel were ever interested in offering the 5.5 prototype Star Sisters and or MOTUC characters in Two Packs like vintage toy Catra and and Vintage toy She-Ra.

First of all, the transparency is VERY much appreciated regarding MOTUC at Power-con 2020. That said....NoOoOoOOo!!! Colour me depressed. At least you pulled the band-aid off quickly, Val. Really appreciate that.
Wanted in MOTUC: 1) Masks of Power Demons 2) Mini-Comics Tri-Klops 3) Hoove 4) Vintage Attack Trak 5) Leech (Club Grayskull)
Like Shock Rock? Check out my band: www.reverbnation.com/massrejection

It made complete sense?... But come on!
Mattel wants to sell the new product without any obstacle an that’s all. This is the sense.
    This thing totally disgusts me!

Considering a new line like Origins will greatly outsell obscure characters in an older line like Classics, what you said is highly unlikely.
Hope to see you at Power-Con 2020!

Well, hopefully they’ll be some Minis exclusives or new She-ra Barbies.

Something besides Origins, because I’m not jumping in on those.

Fingers crossed Classics and Club Grayskull come back soon.

(Val, when you say MOTUC, I assume that means no Filmation/Club Grayskull figs either?)

I wonder what the likelihood of PoP characters showing up in Origins is (similar to how they were included in the Classics line). I would be down for vintage inspired, but Origins-articulation style Catra and She-Ra for an exclusive!
If Mattel did super-retro versions of them, that would be cool too. Basically, I'd be excited for anything in a smaller scale... 5.5" or 6". I think the 12" dolls (and the new Netflix She-Ra dolls) are very cool-looking, but realistically don't think I'd collect them due to space. Chances are they're already well into the development stage, whatever they may be. Can't wait to see what they are, regardless of what sub-line or scale they are though.
