Hello, I've been lurking these boards for maybe a year now and figured it was time to join up.
I've been getting slowly back into MOTU as an adult with a toy-budget, worming my way back through comics that reminded me of MOTU (mostly Johnny Ryan's Prison Pit & Conan the barbarian compilations.) I was reading the old comics, some art books, and immediately had to grab some of my old favourite toys. Watching through old episodes, and trying to buy up what iconic Classics/vintage toys I can for a decent price led me to jump feet-first into the Super 7 Snake Mountain game this past Spring. I make art here and there, and have found great inspiration with the MOTU aesthetic, and pausing episodes to quickly sketch out backgrounds or quick poses.
It's been a blast rediscovering something that was a huge part of my early childhood--and discovering that it still holds up! A large part of that enthusiasm is owed to the community discussions here on the forum!
