Hello everyone, I grew up on He-Man as a kid, and regret no longer having my old Castle Grayskull, Stridor, BattleCat, He-Man, Beast Man, Mantenna, Two Bad, and I'm sure other figures that I'm just forgetting.
My neighbor had Skeletor and Snake Mountain, and some other stuff, so I never got those since we would play together. I specifically remember playing with these figures on my parents deck when I was 4 years old with my neighbor. Ah, memories.
Anywho, I ducked out of He-man for more G.I. Joe, Transformers, Go Bots, and M.A.S.K. in the late 80's, so it was quite a surprise to learn about the New Adventures of He-Man, and the series that I ... for a lack of a better word, dodged.
When the 200X series came out, I was dragged right back in, bought myself a Skeletor and Panthor, and randomly, Orko... I have those I'm fairly certain, SOMEWHERE ( I've been looking through the basement for a few nights now for them ), and want to get back into collecting the line.
At least the newer figures are decently cheaper than my other big line I had been collecting which was S.H. Figuarts Dragonball Z figures.
While I look at the Snake Mountain from Super7 longingly, I just can't bring myself to dump the $600, but that isn't that much of a barrier, more so it's a problem of the space that it takes up. I mostly just have space for things in IKEA Detolf shelves, and the space above them. So it's a bit limiting.
Looking forward to building the Mega Construx Castle Grayskull that is coming in soon though.
Less on my history, I'm a newer collector that is looking forward to the new Mattel offerings, since I kind of missed the bus on the Classics line unfortunately. However I do still want to look into maybe grabbing some select figures to try and set up some figure photography with.
