    Masters of the Hadleyverse.

I’ve made a ton of customs over the years but I’ve never really shared them here. I don’t know why that is. Anyway, I’ll post a couple every time I think about it until they’re all here.

Starting with my Thundercats baddies, one of which is soon to to be superseded.

These guys are Condorman and Yetiman; clearly inspired by Vultureman and Monkian but not expressly meant to be them, just in case the real ones were to come out. Sometimes I’d make “close enough” customs that wouldn’t be completely worthless if an official one came out.

More Thundercats. Tygra here is another “close enough”. His colors are backwards on purpose. I kinda cheesed out on the belt area. Should have sculpted over it or something.

    I’m pretty proud of Brave-or.

    Masters of the Hadleyverse.

Shadow Man, the Horde’s evil plasma manipulator.

Many of those are amazing, I would like to see the side of your New adventures Skeletor, it looks like you got rid of the fatness issue.

My favorite is that Condorman. (If you have time post some more pictures of him too.)

    Great stuff!

Thanks Geo! Yeah, most of them have names.

Venin - The green guy with the blades on his hands.

Sssyber - the red/pink snake in the mecha suit.

Paul - the King Hsss with gold armor and red staff.

Snake Face is still Snake Face, I just wanted to give him a (wait for it....) snake face.

Thanks He-Bro!! When I get back home from this work trip I’ll snap some shots of those guys. I did trim down NA Skelly’s armor.

    Masters of the Hadleyverse.

Up next is a six-pack of Beast Folk. I’m never really sure what order these photos are going to show up in when I use Tapatalk to upload them.

One of these trios could pass for Thundercats mutants. Minotaurman in the background, Hyenaman to the left, and Dingoman to the right. The latter two are obviously Jackalman repaints from the neck down, but I sculpted their faces and ears. I don’t do a ton of sculpting, but I think these guys were pretty successful.

The other trio are nameless beast folk. The guy on the left started life as a “close enough” movie Beast Man...but he didn’t end up “close enough” enough. Totally lacks the samurai thing. The guy on the right is an spellsword, and the guy in the middle is the chief.

Orc attack! Mythic Legions heads are amazing but the bodies are puny.

Rise of the Robots... robots and sci fi stuff are my least favorite aspects of MOTU, but I still have some fondness here.

Redlok and Blueon come from Multi-Bot parts obviously.

And Twistoid has some more appropriate robot legs.

I’ve remade a couple of these guys since taking these photos, so I need to take some updated shots.

In the group of three: on the left we have Headsman, vile decapitator. On the right we have Torpor, grace master of decay. And in the back we have what is meant to be a de-powered Scareglow. Like he’s just this shadow most of the time, and he lights up his bones when it’s time to strike.

The solo portrait is of course the Great Black Wizard.

    Masters of the Hadleyverse.

Horde Primarch, the foul figurehead of the Galactic Horde

Brutak, the brutal bodyguard of the Primarch

Horde Elites, personal guard of the Primarch.

The Primarch is my way of reconciling my preferred version of the Horde: the vintage toy and 200x vision of them being ancient warlords with the POP version of a galaxy-spanning empire. Hordak is the founder, and the original hordesmen are his original generals who took over their first worlds with magic and brutality. As the Horde grew, it needed a government, and a Primarch to run it. The more sci-fi aspects of the Horde fall under his purview.

Stepping away from the Horde briefly (oh, they’re not done) to just show some minor tweaks to a couple of Skeletor’s warriors.

Trap Jaw has a more robotic left hand, and trades the furry undies for more appropriate trunks. I’ve been thinking about painting the visible parts of his blue thighs black to give the appearance of full pants.

Whiplash is of course a repainted Ceratus to look more like the 200x whiplash toy. The head here is not the same one that came with original whiplash; again it’s repainted.

Clawful just has two big claws.

Skeletor has better feet and painted detail on his crossbones. He uses the best parts from all the various Skeletor’s releases, but is based on the Ultimates body.

    Mer-Man’s flunkies.

Crocoman (who is just original Whiplash with the hell removed)

Icthior (who wears flippers for the looks, not just the practical usage)

Octoman (who has pinchers for no discernible reason other than that I bought a second clawful just so I can have one with two big claws)

    Masters of the Hadleyverse.

    Back to the Horde.

A pair of Horde Mutant Troopers, who serve under General Flogg (the space mutants are the Galactic Horde in the hadleyverse).

And just some Horde Bots. The mega trooper is cool IMO. Blast Attack makes no sense as a snake men robot; he’s been drafted to the Horde. The guy on the right doesn’t exist anymore; he was filler.

    Thank you, unclassified!

Keeping it basic today. First is Keldor done up in Geldor garb because I don’t like the idea of Keldor and Skeletor wearing the exact same clothes.

And then we have my perfect He-Man. He’s all grown up, he’s merged all the swords of power together (in my fanon there are several swords of power and Adam took on a quest to merge them all).

These are awesome, thank you for sharing them.

I especially love the figure with the articulated fingers, and the Great Black Wizard - reminds me of the sorcerer figure from that board game HeroQuest!

    Thank you, Iluvart!

Today’s figures are kind of a random mish-mash.

First is Atmos, the evil avionian.

Next is Ultimate Ram Man, only I added metallic paint to his armor and face him a different head. It’s off an Incredible Hulk.

And finally hanging out with Jitsu is Tatsu, who is inspired by Shredder’s lieutenant in the TMNT movie.

    Thank you Drakken!

Here we have a blacked-out version of NA Skeletor. This served as my Movie Skelly until Super 7’s version came out.

Traitor Orko done on a Gwildor body.

    Evil Army builders.

    Masters of the Hadleyverse.

Prince Adam is probably the custom figure I am most proud of creating. I totally cribbed the idea from a guy named Insidious Customs. His is probably better than mine, but I’m still really pleased. He is made from parts of the 200x figure and DCUC Kamandi.

Teela is less successful (you guys, it is really hard to paint white) but I think she is good enough to stand next to Adam on my 200x shelf. If the two of them look familiar to you, they’ve been featured on the front page of the org. That was a cool moment for me. She is made from cut up costume parts from 200x Teela and Snake Teela, and body parts from DCUC Star Girl and Young Justice Artemis. I don’t remember why I needed several figures. I think I just botched up the first try so badly that I had to start over.

I do not like Thunder Punch He-Man, so I repurposed him into Ice Armor He-Man.
