As mentioned I’ve gotten many of them MOTUC-style DC figures. Darkseid, Lobo, and Doomed Superman were villains who didn’t really need any modification.

He-Man never tussled with Doomsday, but this figure just screams MOTU to me. He got a head to toe new paint job and I gave him the trademark furry trunks. The belt came our pretty rough. This might motivate me to improve it.

Joker never mixed it up in the MOTU crossovers either, and this figure doesn’t use MOTU style parts, but this is a pretty buff version of the character. The original wears a white suit with a purple shirt, which I thought was pretty wrong looking. So he got a makeover and he seems like the kind of guy to swing an axe in a crowded theater.

Well, thank you for sharing these. I don't have the talent to make stuff like that, so I enjoy seeing these posts.

And now for our Mythic Legions interlude. I had hoped that these guys would be a Remco-like “plays with MOTU” line, but it didn’t turn out that way. Which isn’t a complaint, they’re fantastic on their own. Plus the Skeletons and Goblin figures do work perfectly with MOTU. We saw Imp earlier, who is a Mythic Legions goblin. Here are a couple customized skeletons.

First is just a part swap. I got Ilgarr’s distinctive charred bones in a trade. He’s a very rare figure on his own, so I put his bones on Skapular figure. The blackened bones with the red tunic really pop.

Next is a partial repaint. I think about 3 people bought the gold skeleton from the first Kickstarter. I think the problem was the figure’s armor. It gave no contrast to set the gold off. So without spending $400 for a gold skeleton, I just painted the bones of the basic skeleton. Black and gold is a classic contrast and I think this guy looks better than the official one

Finally is a head to toe repaint. Hagnon is a transparent ghost figure. I had him once, was underwhelmed, and traded him away. I missed him and got another one. He underwhelmed again, so I painted him into The Skinwalker. The face on this figure looks like a zombie, so that’s what I went with. I bet there will be an official release similar to this one day. And now I’m kind of missing Hagnon again....anyone have one?

Okay, people weren’t into the mythics, so let’s try this dude. I just call this fellow The Master. He’s a neutral master of all martial arts. He is the source of the gauntlets that Jitsu and Fisto wear. The story goes that they both sought training from The Master. Fisto legitimately bested The Master in combat, earning his silver gauntlet. But Jitsu came with a cohort of Ninjor, who slew The Master after he defeated Jitsu in honorable combat. Jitsu then claimed the gold gauntlet for his own.

Cool collection of customs you are building there . Shadowman is seriously cool, Bandwidth is genius, and Kosmos is a great way of transforming a figure I find out of place into something great.

And, which parts did you use to make Torpor? he is excellent as well.
I am currently accepting commissions for custom figures, just PM me with your project

Thanks! Seems like a lot of people think Bandwidth is cool. That’s awesome.

Torpor has a Medival Spawn head, Carnivus Armor, hands are from a shapeways shop (I think you’ll find them if you search for iron fists), as is the sword, belt is from Fisto and boots are from He-Ro.

An interesting backstory - it has a certain Gouken vs Gouki, and Ryu/Ken vibe from the Street Fighter storyline.

Space Ace gear has good contrast with the Dragstor body style. I don’t think that costume looks good on a bare human buck.

Rotar needs robot legs for when he’s not whirling around, not human legs. That’s goofy.

Your Rotar legs look SO much better than what we recieved! They're perfect!

Thanks! I guess what they gave us made sense for a pre-amputation Rotar, but if he gets to wear some robot legs outside of combat, they should be robot legs!

Yeah, I was going for something like that! It’s a classic setup in my opinion.

Let’s get some new stuff posted!

Golden Dragon doesn’t really have a name. He’s meant to be a Galatic Protector (most of them wear blue and gold).

Astronaut Mo-Larr is a joke figure, but there’s something appealing about these parts.

I have a very similar idea to this. Great work!
Top MOTUC wants: Sagitar, Great Black Wizard, Skeletor's Skeleton Warriors, Odiphus, Illumina w/Sleetah, Lady Slither, Tuvar & Baddrah 2-pack, "new" characters as designed by Axor (Axel)

    Masters of the Hadleyverse.

We got some Keldors happening today!

Well, first is actually my take on Son of Skeletor. I’d rather use a crossbones for the centerpiece of his armor, but I’m not about to cut up a genuine Skeletor armor. So a ramstone it is for now until I come up with an alternative.

Prince Keldor follows. He has started exploring the dark arts and some demonic influence has crept in. I realize his nails should be black.

Depending on my mood one could be Keldor and the other can be the son.

And then finally there’s Horde Apprentice Keldor. The Ultimates Keldor head matches the Skelcon body perfectly. He looks too naked... he needs something on his legs but I’m not sure what I want to do about it.

I think the Skelcon figure is made of a lower quality plastic, as doing the tried and true method of taking off the legs to swap out the loincloth caused the pelvis piece to basically crumble. So if you’re going to pop for a Skelcon, be super careful when taking it apart.

Just a couple of enhancements to stock figures.

This Lorde Masque head comes from Master English Customs. The original mask now sits in Grayskull’s archive as a dangerous relic.

And Kronis here got a couple upgrades to further differentiate him from Trap Jaw.

Skowl was retooled; taken off the Unnamed One body and put on a Kowl body. I think that this makes more sense for the character.

Desperador, the undead cowboy, is Rio Blast’s arch nemesis. Yeah, he’s pretty boring, just a head on Masque. I could never really build a body I was satisfied with for this guy. This one just kinda fits. Might paint his gloves a brown leather.

I'm having a hard time deciding which one I like best, Desperador or Skowl. Both look great.

Very cool, I would venture to say that Blastar would a character from the existing media that would fit the bill best as RioBlast arch enemy. Like the other guy alot

Thanks guys! I appreciate the replies.

Skowl is a personal favorite of mine. Kind of a more sadistic version of Kowl.

    Not familiar with Blastar.

I missed out on Light Hope when he came out. I used to buy a lot of extra pieces of dubious origin, and without even knowing it, I had some Light Hope pieces. I put them to use in a darker version of the character I dubbed Lost Hope.

And further building on the versatility of the Gwildor body, we have Karg’s evil dwarfish cousin, Skag.

    Back to demons!

The Bewitching One is a demonic siren. She has reappeared countless times in Eternia history in different forms. She has the power to control the weak-willed through the power of words and beauty. Many kingdoms over the millennia have been under her rule, either as a queen or a mother to kings. Some believe that she may be the mother of a certain skull-faced necromancer...

The Corrupted One is fear incarnate. To look into its eyes is to see ones own nightmares in living form. Like most demons, it feeds on the pain of mortals, but The Corrupted One gains particular power when the living are terrorized. For this reason it is often seen in the wake of The Devouring One, the latter’s flesh-eating ways leaving a abominable trail of mangled bodies wherever it is seen.

That Bewitching One custom is amazing!

Also, where does that long jacket that Desperador has on come from?

It came from a WWE create a wrestler set. Those things were actually secret MOTUC accessory packs.

Cool concept you have there with Lost Hope . Definitely not a character I would imagine he would get a evil nemesis / counterpart.

Thanks Faceless! That was a fun one to do, kinda monochrome with a splash of color.

I think we’ll jump on the barbarian train for a sec. I rebuild these guys pretty often so you may see some heads for a second time here.
