The chained up figure is meant to represent Vikor as he was held as a slave by the Snake Men.

I had the parts to put together an alternate He-Man. Maybe a version in the savage ages between Vikor and Adam?

Woods-Man was created in response to the Fighting Foe Men pitch documents being posted on the Battle Ram blog. He’s an evil version of Moss Man, envisioned as a sidekick to Beast Man, who was the leader of the evil warriors in that iteration. He probably shouldn’t wear the armor piece, but I think he looks really cool with it. In my head I justify it as him taking Beast Man’s form, otherwise he’d just be a talking clump of vines or something.

Wolfman does not have my favorite head, but I had it in a bag for so long I just had to use it. He hangs out with Dingoman and Hyenaman from the first page of this thread.

I’ve made a few figures as gifts over the years, and like a goof, I didn’t photograph them properly. So this shot will have to do.

Prince Neptune has a fully working action feature, nearly perfectly replicating Mermista’s leg swap feature. I say nearly because this works with magnets instead of a ball and socket. The 200x Tri Klops loin cloth gives the illusion of wider “hips” in the fish tail so it doesn’t look so undersized. His armor and gloves have a really cool pearlescent effect that I didn’t capture in the pics.

I forgot a couple! These pics are pretty grungy, I didn’t set up my “studio” and just snapped the pics where the figures live... excuse the dust.

My wife loves peacocks so it only made sense to repaint Peekablue as a tribute figure to her.

She’s also from Seattle and loves the Seahawks so I made her a He-Russel several years ago....with a bonus My Little Pony Denver Broncos figure for him to ride on. This was done for the super bowl featuring those two teams. The decals and stuff are falling all apart... pretty gross really but I wanted to include everything in this thread.

    Masters of the Hadleyverse.

Son of Skeletor Mk.2 (new and improved)

The secret son of Skeletor and Evil Lyn has emerged from being raised in secret. He learned to control is magical might by his maternal grandfather, the guardian of the ruins of Zalesia, the Faceless One. He learned how to charm people, gain their confidence, and exploit their trust by his paternal grandmother, Saryn, better known throughout time as the demonic Bewitching One (see post #95 in this thread). He learned pure selfishness and evil from his own parents, though he never actually met his father. Conflict storms within him. He could use his powers for his own gain, but his grandfather’s lessons included using power with kindness and mercy. What is the Son of Skeletor’s true nature?

    Masters of the Hadleyverse.

    Templar

At the dawn of the Savage Age of Eternia, human, Snake Man, Beast Folk, and all other alike suffered under the merciless, black sword of Wun-Dar, the son of He-Ro. His method of reclaiming peace and uniting the kingdoms through force and bloodshed inspired several would-be heroes and villains. It is a matter of perspective to determine where Templar lies on the spectrum of good and evil. Covering himself in silver and gold, he has seen the struggle as an avenue to wealth. His motto is that the accumulation of riches is the reward of righteousness, though his methods may be just as savage as Wun-Dar himself.

This Wizard character also exists in the Savage Age. I think the item he is holding is the Orb of Agony, but I’m not sure yet if it’s connected to Zalesia. He’s fairly mysterious to me at the present time. His history and characterization are blocked to my mind (aka haven’t made much up yet and I’m having some imagination block).

This heroic, yet somewhat gruff and harsh knight is kept at arms length from the Great Rebellion. While he clearly is no Hordesman, Queen Angella does not approve of the methods he uses to fight against them.

Rather vainly I went through this thread again and thought, "dang, I'm actually pretty good at this". , Then I noticed some of my pics shrunk! Might repost some of those. I usually only use Tapatalk to use the forum on my phone, but looking at it on a computer revealed the shrunken photos.

    By the Power of Destruction!

I AM THE SON OF SKELETOR!!!

I’ve tried several times to make a decent Skeleteen but finally gave into the fact that the build-a-figure Lobo was the best base possible.

A slight change of wardrobe and my previous effort is now a passable Malkyn or Keldyn or Dion or whatever his name is.

All of your customs are fantastic. My favorites are the Faker figures. Your work table must look like a mad scientist's collection of action figure body parts!

Thank you, Laura! The Fakers hold a special spot in my heart too. They’re a bunch of misfits, cast away from their creator and immediately distrusted and hated by everyone else. You’d almost forgive them for being a little crazy. The one wearing Skeletor’s gear and a hood is the “Perfect Faker”, but he’s a little too self aware of what he is to go all-in on Skeletor’s crazy plans.

Teela is considered to be among the most beautiful action figures ever sculpted. I’m not here to challenge that or to think I could improve on it - I’m not crazy - but I do think she can look a little severe. I wanted to give her a little bit of playfulness. I removed her bun and gave her a ponytail.

Before anyone gasps that I cut up a Teela head, it was the Ultimates version, so I hope that makes it better for you. Original Teela is untouched on my shelf for when the war gets serious.

I remade Kane. Might not keep the Marzo armor on him. I put some Hordak armor on him for a bit, but decided against it.

This guy originally had a Darius head with the hair and beard painted white. It looked really cool, but I lucked into this classic Kevin Kosse head. I’ll find another use for that Darius head.
