Zodac Brazilian Estrela Minicomic - English translation - Zodac in: DISTANT INVASION

Presenting the long-awaited English-language translation of a very rare official Masters of the Universe Estrela minicomic from Brazil - 'DISTANT INVASION' (1987) starring Zodac!

When Mattel licensed MOTU to Estrela in the 80's, the company published several of its own minicomics, in Portuguese. Some of them were re-do's of the US minicomics, but several of them were all-new, original stories!

    * Massive thanks to the wonderful Marcelo Barbosa for acquiring these scans for me!

    * Mega-thanks also to Jukka Issakainen, a longtime member of the Cosmic Enforcers himself, for placing the text into the word balloons and for cleaning up all of the minicomic pages!

    * Portuguese-to-English translations by Danielle S. Oliveira Gelehrter aka Penny Dreadful. Hey, I know her. She's kinda weird.

    * Sadly, I don't know who originally wrote or illustrated this story.

    Enjoy!...

That was a strange one, ha ha! But it totally felt like a Filmation episode, didn't it?
It's nice to see Zodac put to use here.

    Wow. That was... epic!

And! Chalk up a SECOND (to my knowledge) official Masters of The Universe story EVER to not feature He-Man!

It's good to see a Vintage story that actually seems to understand the potential of Zodac, rather than just being confused/mystified by him, as is most often the case! He is a little off-model here (what's with the nose?? [^D), but very well-used in a story that utilizes his cosmic tendencies to great effect!

Thanks very much for the efforts to bring this unusual tale to English readers!

Thanks a ton! I love reading all these translations! And you're totally right Snake_Man, this one is unique without He-Man in it!
