Greetings everyone!

I have been lurking here for a while now, but I officially signed up for an account here earlier this week. I was a big fan of the line in my youth, with one of my favorite memories being the Christmas morning where I woke up to find that Santa had left me nearly the entire line. 🙂 I collected the line

at least through 1985 and religiously watched the Filmation cartoon every day at 3pm (and She-Ra too once it debuted and aired in the 3:30pm slot). I unfortunately sold off all my original collection in the early 2000s (including an imitation line figure that had a primarily black body and a Roman helmet).

Despite always having a soft spot for the brand and the characters, and also being a big toy collector, I never got back into MOTU until last year when I learned of the existence of the Super7 5.5” Filmation line. I immediately ordered all of those that I could, and I also reacquainted many of the vintage figures that weren’t slated for that line as well as the DC and Thundercats Savage World lines. And once a good friend told me the news about the MOTU Origins line ...

So yes, I plan on being back in this hobby for the long haul now. 🙂

Indeed it is! I have already bought the Grayskull Mania set and all the wave 1 WWMOTU figures, and I am even more excited for the proper Origins line to hit. I really do like how the new figures are super articulated but still have the vintage aesthetic so they fit in with my existing collection.
