Do Your Vintage Stinkors and Moss-Men Still Smell?

I have a few vintage Stinkors and they still retain their stinky (but lovely) skunky smell. I assume the fragrance was baked into the plastic?

But awhile back I opened a Commemorative Moss-Man and he had zero scent whatsoever. Did it wear off, or was it never there? And that got me wondering - Do vintage Moss-Man figures still retain their pine scent? Was the scent added to the figure in the same was as Stinkor?

Mossman smell was pinadle/pine I think.
    Stinkor was patchouli?

Haven't sniffed 'em in a couple of years, but Stinkor's always retained a strong smell. Moss Man, as well, although his piney smell was never as strong as Stinkor's.

I've read that Stinkor's scent was created with patchouli oil and that seems like it could be correct.

I've actually never smelled a vintage Moss-Man, only the Classics version (which definitely is strong and reminiscent of Pine-Sol). I have an opportunity to buy a sealed vintage Moss-Man on a damaged card, but I'm not sure whether I'll open him. If I thought he retained his scent, I might. The loose Commemorative version I have is in excellent condition, just no scent. :-(

Mine is faint, but it's still there.

I've been looking over the years for a patchouli oil that matches the smell, but each one that I sniff is different.
