The Masters of the Universe Origins -toyline will come with brand new Minicomics. We know so far that Robert Rudman of Mattel has had a hand in the writing part. No artists have been announced.

Nice! I like the art quite a bit and hope it's indicative of what's inside.
I think the only eyesore is the title. That font is pretty bad here (I mean, it's sort of reminiscent of "Friday the 13th", but something looks off here- that soft halo effect underneath makes it look a little.. cheap).
But hey- that's me nitpicking first thing in the morning before coffee.

And is it true that there will be one comic per entire wave of figures, rather than each individual figure coming with it's own story?

This is fake. In the online listings for the Origins figures, the wave one minicomic cover is a redrawn He-Man and the Power Sword cover.

Yeah, I like the art, too, for all the reasons you mentioned. And yes, the mods have confirmed that Origins will get its own forum. I'm guessing it’s coming relatively soon.
I’m glad they’re bringing back the comics, but this thing is pretty anemic. Hopefully the first wave is a smashing success and Mattel is willing to invest a little more in future waves.

So for all intents and purposes, Hordak eats like a baby bird with Mosquitor being the mama.gross
These mini comics are pretty short , I like them though , they kind of remind me of the old UK comics stories ( I'm also kind of using them as a prequel to the he-man/thundercats crossover set just after the sunbird legacy ) anyway , I'd love a collection of these when origins is finished , padded out with the card back art and boxart , I think it'd be one of my favourite books

With Buzz-Off, Sorceress, and Stratos (Mini Comic), all being heroes that can fly facing off against Jitus, the Wave 7 mini comic should be interesting. So far only He-Man and Skeletor are the only characters that should up other that they toys in that wave, for the core figures. The Deluxe mini comics all feature He-Man, Man-at-Arms, Teela and what ever the deluxe figures are in that "wave" show in in both the deluxe comics so far.
Vehicles and locations seem to be a free-for-all. Funny thing is Prince Adam only shows up in the wave 1 and 4 mini comics, but no Jet Sled is anywhere to be seen, but the Wind Raider is in the wave one mini comic.
Snake Mountain is in three of the mini comics but Castle Grayskull is only in one.
As I get these I'll keep scanning them. I don't have the SDCC He-Man/Adam set and I'm not sure if I'll ever get it, it's not really something I need, but if someone has it and is willing to let me barrow it to scan let me know.

I appreciate it since there aren't many places that keep track of those comics. Just change "Snake Attack" to "Sneak Attack". We're still waiting for Snake Men.

Thanks for doing that! I have to admit the end of the Rock and a Hard place minicomic puzzled me. Maybe after it's scanned here we can talk about it.
