"Tell me I am beautiful - it means nothing to me. Tell me I am intellectual - well, I know it already. Tell me I am funny however, and that is the greatest compliment in the world that anyone can give me".

Thanks for posting the images Jukka.
The mini-comic is fine, short and sweet.
My only nitpick is they seem to imply that Adam lives in Castle Grayskull. If they'd just used 'palace' instead in that line or two of dialogue it would have worked much better IMO.
Looking forward to getting a copy in hand.

In the first issue of the NA minicomics, Adam does live in Castle Grayskull, as you see he was sleeping there. That is the only story I can think of him living there.

Am I the only one bothered by He-Man redrawn eyes and left cheek bone? He looked great in the initial artwork (left) and looks like a ventriloquist doll with the lack of iris and reversed drawn cheek bone...

Isn’t the artwork on the left the final version?

It's not as good as some of the earlier vintage Mini-Comics, back when the mythos was fresh and it had a more barbaric tone... But not really a surprise in that regard.
This is a nice little 6 page version of the later vintage minis, or a episode of the Filmation cartoon.
The fact that this is a real bound mini comic and not just some cheap paper insert will really make it stand out. NOTHING in toys is doing anything like this these days. This comic gives you everything a kid needs to know to pick up and start playing.
Good stuff for what it is. Thus far everything Origins is awesome.
At first I thought that this was place holder for the min comics and that each figure would have a unique mini comic, but I hope that will be the case for future waves. Still better than wwe mini comics.

I just got my European version of Origins He-Man, and was surprised to see that it comes with a different version of the Beast Barrage minicomic, as all of the speech balloons have been removed. The story is so simplistic that you can still follow it, even without the characters talking. It's kind of cool to see the art with no dialogue covering it.
PlanetEternia.de has the exclusive first opening of Scare Glow and Orko figures.
And showcased the international minicomic (no text) from it.

I wonder does He-Man live at Castle Grayskull in this new MOTU Origins story?
Umm I was expecting the 'evil Orko' to turn out to be Scareglow but it ended up being Skeletor.

Now we need a Skeletorko with assassin's blade accessory.
I know there are fights in essentially every Motu story, but for some reason the straight up Psycho-style murder attempt with a realistic looking knife was somewhat surprising to me. It doesn't bother me in the least, I just wasn't expecting it.
Maybe it's just me, but the timing/pacing of this story raises questions (admittedly, the text may address a lot of this). Like why didn't He-Man and Man-E-Faces think "hey, where'd Orko go? He was right behind us. Maybe we should go check on him." Also, does Skeletorko immediately pursue He-Man or is there some time between the disguise and entering Castle Grayskull? If it's immediate, the whole Orko escape (assuming that is what's happening as that's kind of weird too) doesn't make a lot of sense to me. I mean, Skeletorko pretty much tries to kill He-Man right away. Even if the time it took between Orko being face down in the dirt to ultimately escaping was an almost inconceivably short time, it still doesn't seem like he could've stopped Skeletorko's assassination attempt. If there was time between the disguise and entering Castle Grayskull, that makes the fact that He-Man and Man-E-Faces didn't look for Orko that much weirder. And why would He-Man and Man-E-Faces have gone through with the fake He-Man charade? What was the point of that? Did they know Skeletor was around, and they just didn't care what they were doing to Orko? If Orko didn't show up, was He-Man just going to let Skeletorko kill Man-E-Faces while he watched and did nothing? Or maybe Orko came in and He-Man just grabbed him and threw him at Skeletorko.![]()
Where is Scareglow teleporting from and to during the Orko escape sequence? This whole story seems like it would have taken place in one very small location (especially for Scareglow and Trapjaw). Again, maybe it's explained in the text.
The ability to teleport away with anything you're even in the vicinity of must be an awesome power for a villain!
Another weird thing about the assassination attempt is the mystery of the disappearing Power Sword. He-Man-E-Faces has it on his back just before the attempt, then he doesn't, then he does again. Kind of strange.
Also, it's been 30 years and we still don't seem to have a consensus on what to do with Skeletor's feet.
can we get the version with words?
The comics are great, and the art is awesome... but I wish they were longer!! Atleast add another 2 pages, to flesh out and develop the stories a little more. I know it's a mini comic, but the vintage ones seemed to have a lot fuller of stories. A little more for kids' imagination to hang their hats on. That's my only complaint. C'mon Mattel, step it up.
