Targets shipping isn't much better than walmart. They folded the top to fit in the box and no paper or filler, just panthor.

I think at this point, if you want to get perfect cards, your best bet is ordering from collector sites like BBTS or Entertainment Earth. The giant retailers are not going to take the time to care about how they are packaging action figures.

Didn't really know where to post these. There should be a general Origins thread for any news or pictures. Anyway, these are new shots of Stratos, Ninjor and Hordak:
Ninjor is frustratingly hit and miss:
Pros vs vintage:
- Added articulation
- Shirt is plastic instead of soft goods
- He has places to store his weapons on his back
Cons vs vintage:
- Nunchuk chain is not metal
- No second, un-hooded head
Where did these images pop up from?
I like that we can finally pose Ninjor holding the nunchucks properly (even Classics couldn't grip both ends).
I'm amused that someone took these shots not really knowing that Hordak's shield is supposed to be clipped around his forearm, not used to prop up his crossbow- but I guess this works too
I haven't had too many criticisms about choices made with this line thus far (head sculpts on a few characters aside), due to it's kid-friendly price point and just the nature of what they are attempting to do in a mass retail line... but I will say I'm not crazy about Stratos' wings. I know in the photo they aren't positioned properly above his wrist, but I was hoping they'd also snap around his biceps somehow. I picture them being kind of wonky in person and "floating" off his arms they way these are designed, rather than being flush with his arms- if that makes sense.
Overall though I love what we are seeing in terms of all the vivid colors. The blackwash on most of the modern lines, from the 200X line to Classics, always drove me nuts.

Yeah, the fact that the wings were loose on his upper arms always bothered me about the vintage figure because it was unnecessarily ugly. They had an obvious opportunity to fix that with this line...yet they didn't bother?? Such decisions are beyond comprehension...
Really loving Ninjor, he looks amazing.
I'll be skipping Hordak and Stratos, they have both had many versions over the last few years from various companies, so no need for those.
Looking forward to seeing detailed pics of Tri-Klops.

They all look pretty good to me. Some nitpicks: Hordak's eyes look small; Stratos' beard is a bit pointy, and his wings are a bit small. Also Stratos should have gray eyelids. But overall good. I really dig Ninjor.

Yeah, oddly enough- Ninjor has never been a favorite character of mine, but he looks the best of this bunch. The waves have been a strange assortment of characters. I kinda like that they're mixing things up instead of sticking rigidly with the previous lines' release patterns- it gives me hope we could see them sneak in someone like Rokkon in an assortment sooner than later.

Zodac is almost perfect to me, but the big disappointment for that figure is that the head sits too low on the neck peg. It makes him look like he has no neck. I've been able to kind of set it on top of the neck peg and it looks a lot better, but of course that doesn't secure it to the figure. Tri-Klops looks pretty great, although the green is not quite right to me, it's a bit too much on the yellow-green spectrum for me. Perhaps in person, the color will look more correct.

Well, Amazon's pricing algorithm is broken again with Trap Jaw since he's $36 shipped and sold by Amazon. Maybe with enough of us submitting the incorrect price, they will fix it. Not holding out high hopes though.

I doubt they will do anything. I tried that with scare glow on Walmart and got a BS response. You can always bite the bullet and wait till you can get him somewhere else at regular retail.

I must say, Ninjor is almost Classics quality in the detail department.
