Yeah, those are fugly. If I had to think of a complaint for the Masterverse line, it would be that the calves and feet on the figures always seem weird. Like are they on the wrong leg? Switch em around. Nope. That made it worse. Switch em back. Still looks weird.

If I have any issue with it it's that the feet may be a bit small. If you look at the character sheet they definitely edited the proportions of him a bit, but I think he looks great. I really like the big kneepads/shins, gives it a very classic robot aesthetic, which Roboto is always good about, even with the sleeker look.

I also wouldn't use dysmorphic in this context. I assume that your intended meaning is 'disproportionate'.

I don't think the feet are small at all, they might be elongated if anything.

I though Roboto's design was one of the best in Revelations.

Any word if they announced a 40th Anniversary Battle Cat? I'm disappointed with the Revelations version and the after market prices for the MOTU Classics are kinda ridiculous.

I'm hoping for 40th Anniversary versions of Skeletor and Battle Cat that aren't part of sets that sell out online in under a minute

I was watching a review for the 40th anniversary set and I realized the Masterverse figures don’t have any nips! Haha!

It wasn’t as noticeable on the regular skinny Masterverse chest, but it looks so weird on the 40th He-man without his harness on.

I think they are really there, just under the power-harness/garment: https://images.app.goo.gl/uT9TrBZVWzQDRQjs5

Interesting that She-Ra's box art shows a pink Swiftwind.

Also, Hordak's box art prominently shows Leech to the side! Would be cool to get a MV figure of him!

She-ra’s face looks pretty good! Wonder if it is a micro head or if it could be used on Classics/ Club Grayskull She-ra figures. Her hair color seems a little too orangey. And hate the black tampo on her wrist guards and boots. Seems cheapo.

Not really feeling Hordak. Between the Masterverse marionette buck, a weak head sculpt, weak bone collar/armor sculpt, and that terrible cape material, he’s real m’eh.

Really digging She-Ra's mask…interesting they're going with FILMation colors for the figures but Swiftwind is pink like the vintage toy.
200X fan? Classic fan? What does that mean? I'm a MotU fan!!!

Don't overlook Mantenna, who if you look closely enough you can see on the other side!
I love the She-Ra cardback art so much. The final figure itself? I have to get it in hand, but I guess I was hoping her gold paint would more resemble Teela 2.0's and be a bit... brighter. Same with the hair- it looks a bit too much like Classics She-Ra's hair color (was hoping they'd go blonder). But as a pair, they do look great together- Hordak's head is taking some getting used to... the shape or angle of it is a little odd to me. I guess when it comes to Masterverse, I might just be more into the New Eternia style where they really overhaul the characters, than when they do interpretations of an animation style for the character. I'll most likely display this She-Ra with the new helmet/tiara look with the white eyes- it just looks cooler to me.
Looking for any specific Classics figures? Let me know via PM what you might be looking for and I'll look through some boxes and see if we can help each other out!

She-Ra looks pretty good but yet another disappointing Dad Bod male figure.

I was waiting to see what MV Hordak looked like with better quality pictures as the lowish quality preview pictures looked promising and I only had a grey Classics version of him.

On seeing this, I pulled the trigger and I’m now the proud owner of a SDCC 2014 Classics blue Hordak and Imp, he will be here in a few days.

Yeah, that SDCC Hordak is legit. The Club Grayskull Hordak head sculpt is also top notch.

masterverse has a Dad bod???? Wouldn’t a MV body be closer to the MCU Thor in real life?

Not really. The Masterverse male figures chest and waist are roughly the same size, like a "Dad Bod". Classics figures had more of a "V-shape", where the chests were broad, and the waists were smaller. Classics figures were also more "cut" and muscular.

The Masterverse bodies are kind of rounded, doughy, and dad bod-ish.

I don’t know what world you live in but to to have a body like a MV figure would need lots of time spent in a gym.

I’m just trying to understand stand this. It’s like saying a Olympic swimmer has a dad bod
