What clown feet? They are the same size as Classics. If anything Classics are more clown like being wide in the front of the foot.

Due to sales at Target and AMAZON I've been able to catch up with this line. You can't beat Stinkor at $9 and Savage He-Man/Orko at $15. Despite hating Revelation, I even got Andra at $9.99. I'm really happy with the figures. For a mass retail line, these are really good.

    Yup!

And later waves seem to be improving on a lot of the initial quirks...

    (I'm still hoping for a He-Man 2.0)

Glad to hear it. Those sales are EXTREMELY helpful.

Soon, I'll be priced out of collecting. Likely, MOTU will be the brand I end on, but I'm going out happy. Well....relatively happy, anyway.

    Hey guys, howís it going?

Do you think there will be any reveals at Power Con? Or with Mattel not attending do you think weíve had all the reveals for this year?

I think definitely more reveals are coming, just not at Power Con.

From Mondo to Masterverse collectors have complained about He-Manís face sculpt. Looking back though, the original toyís face sculpt looked like he was about 50 years old.

Itís a tough tight-rope to walk, He-Man needs to look heroic, but also youthful.

Is there a version you all particularly like? Either on screen or on toy form? I think the 2000X version was pretty good.

I loved He-Manís original head sculpt as a kid, and I still love it now. It is an extremely iconic design. It changes its features a bit, however you hold it.
Itís a gritty warrior and I totally loved that. I didnít feel he needed to look youthful.

The vintage bodies were kind of grotesque, very squatty, and the face reflects that. Itís very wide. It is designed to match the proportions of the body perfectly.

And here comes the issue- when you try to put that face onto another body, for example the slender Mondo bodies, it looks IMHO ridiculous, not in a good way. I donít think the head itself was so badĖ it just looked like you put a Micky Mouse head on a He-Man figure.

I think they did better with the MV anniversary He-Man. Itís still kinda hard to change that head without ruining it.

Sorry I got carried away here rambling :-) Itís a topic I really feel strongly about, apparently

I actually really love the first Origins head, too. And I think I like the new 200X origins head

It's funny that you say squatty. I always thought the vintage head looked constipated.

    How dare you Sir! haha
well I also meant, wide. Just *so* bold. And the bent knees made them even more blocky.
I might not use the right wordsĖ but I just love it :-) !!

I believe there was a toy inspired head that came with a He-man Ultimates that I thought was pretty good, although don't care for the earlier He-man sculpts in Classics.

I love, LOVE the vintage He-Man head sculpt.

In fact, it's the only way I can actually picture him in my head...

(But... how much of my love comes from the fact that I carried He-Man with me everywhere when I was a kid? MOTU was quite a big part of my childhood... the vintage figure is still one of my all time favorite toys and it hits all the right nostalgia buttons. And, IMO, it honestly still holds up well today.)

The standard Classics He-Man head sculpt was awful.

The Laser Light head and King He-man head were excellent, too.

My fav is Mattelís Filmation head.

The NA heads were okay, too.

The standard Classics head was the worst Classics He-man head, but not horrible.

I donít mind the first MV head, except for maybe the size and color. Itís a little too pinhead and yellow-ish.

I don't like that head sculpt especially when they had the red paint around the eyes on the first He-Man.

Laser Light head is fantastic... also one of my favs.

I really appreciate the New Adventures head too. The 4H took the vintage-style sculpt and tweaked it with He-Man's '90s bangs and ponytail!

Big fan of the NA heads!

Otherwise, I only have the (2nd issue) standard classics head, purchased way back, and have very much gotten used to him as ďmyď Classics He-Man. I donít mind he looks different from the vintage toyĖ to me he does the job. Some of the attempts to make more vintage-y heads donít do it for me, but perhaps if I had them in hand Ö 🤷*♂️

Currently I like the Red-eyes head that comes with MV Faker, a dot of blue marker and it's the He-Man head with the non-derpy expression and more traditional hair.
