Just using the buck and paint quality here and there. Not pure re-releases, plenty of variants other characters to be had.

Re: Adam, I hope it is the Revelation version. I think he’s a great looking version of Adam. Very obviously Adam, but different enough to make him interesting. 200x would be just as good, and I am interested to see what a New Eternia version would be. I don’t want another Adam that is just He-Man in different clothes; that would be a bummer. Needs a slimmer body.

Sorceress and Pig Head came in from BBTS today. I really love Pig Head. The stock Masterverse parts work great when used with a different chest or armor and what not. The weird sticky accessories are odd though.

I put the long hair Teela head on my Sorceress to display her with King He-Man and Dare. Fantastic. I don’t know how to do it better, but the hard plastic orange mantle really hinders motion and makes her look like she has no neck. I put a tiny bit of poster tack in the head socket to make it stand a little proud, and to stick it a little better as this head is a tad loose.

Any guesses as to what the BIG news might be? I can't think of anything that hasn't been hinted at yet, and nothing can top Eternia

My guess is it's going to be one or all of the rumored Snake Men Pack, the Skeletor & Screeech Pack, or the Skeleton Warriors Two-Pack.

It'll most likely be OFFICIAL announcements for the rest of this year. Masterverse Buzz-Off, Ram-Man and the others that were leaked. Also Origins waves 14, 15 deluxe wave 6 the "gift sets" any beasts or vehicles and an update on Snake Mountain.

Probably Snake Mountain origins Pre-order. I bet since there are no retailers wanting to put it on shelves they need to move the rest on their site

Dream announcement: Classics is rolling into Masterverse.

I thought of that too but didn't want to say anything because it seems there's always a handful of people here who just love to **** all over the idea of Classics ever coming back as if it somehow offends them, and I'm tired of having to justify and explain why over and over as if they can't read.

Target online has some deals today - movie skeletor and two bad are on sale in stock for shipping $23.09 each. Sun-man is $9.99 preorder - I believe that’s the cheapest he’s been.

I thought of that too but didn't want to say anything because it seems there's always a handful of people here who just love to **** all over the idea of Classics ever coming back as if it somehow offends them, and I'm tired of having to justify and explain why over and over as if they can't read.

I think this is just because it's become a matter of haves versus have-nots.

Nobody wants to spend the money necessary to build a good Classics collection, so it becomes easier to crap all over MOTUC instead.

I know that there are plenty of fans who legitimately prefer Masterverse over Classics, but I will never be able to find enough positives to say Masterverse outdoes Classics.

I still collect MV and I adore Origins to death, but for me, Master of the Universe Classics is the definitive MOTU line of figures.

I had a buddy come over and I put Classics versions of characters versus MV and asked him which looked better. He gave Classics the win every time.

Also Classics wasn't hard to get into if you were actively into MOTU at the time and not adulting. Classics news was all over the internet toy sites.

I can imagine it’s irritating for a Masterverse fan to constantly have to have someone like me constantly bemoaning the demise of Classics and wishing that they’d replace the MV body with the Classics one. I’m sure it gets annoying and frustrating and they’d wish we’d **** about it.

No entitlement at all... just truth.

Secondary prices on Classics are ludicrous. If I didn't already have them, I would not be willing to spend that kind of money on MOTUC - so, naturally I'd go with the cheaper option, e.g. Masterverse.

Plus, as a bonus, the MV prices don't seem to inflate like those of Classics - because they are a retail line. So, people late to the party can still collect all of the original waves at MSRP or cheaper.



I won't deny the QC issues that some MOTUC have, but even those are blown way out of proportion IMO. Plus, Matty ensured that the line was accessible to anyone who wanted them... their subscription windows were very generous and oftentimes, the figures would be available on Mattycollector for non-subs too...

I agree. I've got mine on display and they look fantastic. Best pieces in my toy collection.
