If confirmed, this would be indeed great!
and there would be no need to license CLASSICS to Super7 for 45$ each per figure but at retail for less now that would be interesting;
weird, it seems like only a small group of vocal fans knew and collected MOTUC for years, now this thing is becoming even bigger and more famous, it would be mainstream as someone suggested. We'll see...uhmmm......
how lucky as MOTU fans, so much to collect, totally deserved.
Now if only we could have at least 1 small collector line for a proper GiJoe ARAH 7'' line, M.a.s.k, Bravestarr, Filmation Ghostbusters, Silverhawks, Tigersharks

"The Most Powerful Man in the Universe..."
"Where Hope seems Lost..."
"Good Journey!"
"I was summoned on the future..."
"A Hero shall emerge to protect Eternia..."
"A Hero will Rise..."
"The Power of Grayskull Awakens......"
"Let the Power Returns....!"
Moss Man is most likely from Revelations since the box art for him was shown at PowerCon and it says Revelations on the box.

I think they will all be Revelations style for the first wave. My assumption (since we’ve seen Moss Man’s packaging.
I think "classic" means a more classic appearance. I think there's close to 0% chance of Classics appearing in this line. Masterverse is a new line.
I suppose that "classic" in the context of Masterverse does not mean Classics reissue. I would assume, at least for the first wave, that all of the figures have a new style. In the new cartoon series I suppose characters have a new look (new outfit?), so the "classic" one would be a new style but with the classic outfit.
Wish list of MOTUC figures: Sagitar, Red Beast, Red Shadow, Hans Hammerholder, Ra-Jar
Not to read too much into it, but the thing that makes it a little more confusing is Kevin Smith saying that the cartoon designs don't stray too far away from the Original / Classic / Retro / Vintage designs. It's like....then why do we need to call the figures 'classic'?
I'm sure it will make sense later.![]()

It is kind of ironic and somewhat sad that MOTUC soldiered on for so long with a shoestring budget and minimal mainstream attention, but now that interest in the brand has seemingly been revived after all these years, companies are willing to invest in all of these spinoff lines but NOT Classics itself which was in large part responsible for this MOTU renaissance. I get that companies want to look like they're trying new things and all, but what could be the harm in just keeping a core group of MOTUC as an evergreen item, while designing spinoff lines that can display well alongside them, rather than trying to reinvent the wheel every time and blowing a huge tooling budget making something that still looks like He-Man, but different enough that you have to start your collection all over again? Just imagine if all the resources that are being poured into MOTU right now had been made available for Classics from the get go, so that we could not only get the full lineup of characters we all love, but fewer cut corners in terms of parts reuse and cut features, and proper distribution and marketing. Sigh...
I hope Classics will live on in the Masterverse line. I think it would be very fitting. I still want King Miro and Lady Slither.![]()

I’m sure everyone has seen the thread about DeepDiscounts preorders:

In addition, Randysrecords .com (salt Lake City?) has preorders up for the oversized Skeletor and Battle Cat and a case assortment ($119 seems off?) with a release date of 8-1-21.

Hmm, if these toys are coming out in August, maybe that means Revelation will premiere this summer?
Oh man! I cannot wait to see some prototypes!!
Am I correct in stating that we've never received offical word that Moss Man is the real deal??![]()

MOTU Origins Wishlist: Oo-Larr, Rattlor, Hawke, Slamurai, Lodar, Snake Face, Geldor, Plasmar, Lord Gr'Asp, Strobo, Extendar, Jitsu, Tung Lashor
I think these are the real deal. Skeletor looks just like the mini figure that was discussed over in the minis thread.

the way Battle Cat's right feet are displayed, makes me think there is no ankle articulation. Any eagle-eyed, analytical folks able to compare his articulation to Origins and Classics Battle Cat?
I was thinking they were going to use the Classics Battle Cat tooling for this, but looks like no?
His rear legs remind me a lot of 200X Battle Cat and Panthor.
