$35 for a standard figure plus (I’m assuming) postage on top from Popcultcha.
I looked into getting a figure from amazon.co.uk but the cost plus shippping was astronomical.
Hopefully we get them at Target, Myer, Big W etc. I’d like to get em all but don’t have unlimited funds and might just stick rounding out my Commemorative collection instead.

I'm glad to see SOMEONE in Australia stocking them (in... May). Price is about the same as I paid for wave one on eBay, so I'll probably try to get hold of wave two before it gets here. But it's encouraging to see that they'll make it to Australia in some fashion; I was worried nobody here would be stocking them at all.

Any update on these locally? I only planned on getting these if I found them in Australian stores. Planned on making it a hobby to track 3 sets; for my son and 2 nephews. It's not as fun buying online and ruins the experience IMHO.

Wow, they are only 15$ at big w. I have been paying minimum 30$ each on Amazon. I wish patience was one of my virtues.

I did see He-Man and Skeletor today in a BigW where we are holidaying, but I already got Skeletor from an overseas online retailer, and am keen on the He-Man with th running change, vintage-inspired head, and complete Power Sword.

More or less. I got to my Big W around 4.30 Thursday afternoon and there were only 3 toys left, 1 He-Man and 2 Skeletors. The staff member I had a nice chat with said they only got a single box of toys in, and they went on the shelves that morning. She could not say when, or even if, more stock might come in.
And this is in Mildura, the middle of no-where. I have to imagine that stock would have vanished just as quickly in the cities.
With all the disruption to supply chains right now (especially for stuff coming out of China), it could easily be that there just wasn't much stock to go around t begin with.
Sold out pretty quick online. My past experiences with Big W is that whenever something new comes out, they get very little stock in store. They always tell me "We only got 3 in and they sold out."
I gotta assume they test the waters and will get more stock in now they sold through this quite fast.
Yeah after you guys posted about them being at Big W I though I would be a cool uncle and order some for my nephew. Quickly realized that was happening. I will have to keep an eye out to see if they come back in stock. Shipping for the US is very expensive so that would be ideal to buy from them.
I held off on ordering from the US, then held off on ordering from Australian importers, because of two things:
1) the price - I have other hobbies, and this stuff did not take priority - in fact it kinda took last place
2) the experience - it really was very nice to be able to just walk into a shop and pick up something off the shelf, especially as so many things I buy these days (even work clothes, once I know the size and make from meat space) I buy from a web site. There were rumours, from around Christmas last year I think, that Big W (and possibly Target) would carry these, so I was content to wait until they turned up. I had actually resigned myself to never seeing them just a few weeks ago, after all the July/August sales came and went and the shelves got re-set/re-stocked and there was still no MOTU, nor even any announcements or new rumours (that I saw, anyway).
I saw Origins Battle Cat at Marion Big W in SA this morning. They still haven't restocked the wave 1 figures since I first saw them there a couple of weeks ago.

I picked up 2 Origins Battlecats and 4 Revalations figures from Watergardens, VIC. They seem to sell out as soon as they are in.
Hopefully Cat turns up in QLD soon. Still have my fingers crossed for Beast Man. Did someone see wave 1 figures?
A mixed weekend here in Mildura.
Big W has a bunch of Masterverse Skelegods now, just sorta crammed on a shelf. Crammed because they got rid of the racks they had their Origins stuff on after it all sold out in 2 days and couldn't get more stock (several weeks ago).
I know they have a box of Origins Skeletors because I saw it myself on the trolley, opened and ready to put out. Except they haven't put it out, because they've got nowhere for the things to go now
And their website says they've got Battlecat (shows low stock), but they don't, because I ordered one and received a refund this morning because they could not supply the order.
They finally got some Battlecats in
No idea what's happened to their Skeletors - the box was still on their trolley/cage thing, but there was only one Skelly left, and their stock level was officially at -2...
Still no place on the shelves for MOTU, still no re-stock of the wave that evaporated in one afternoon at the start of the month. And now we're hearing that Mattell has ceased production of the early waves, which had to come, of course, but what does this mean for obtaining them in Australia?
A couple of these guys are at fountain gate big w. There is a space on the shelf for origins but nothing there
