Couldn't decide if I wanted to be surprised or not...

...so I clicked the link and briefly looked through my fingers.

Just got mine all - here is a link to not spoil the package if your are in anticipation of surprise, I plan to do an LED light up similar to my pic and am pretty pleased! Objectively, we got so much magic with the Origins He-Man set, alt heads, 2 figures, beautiful packaging, an awesome box for that package, a gorgeous clear slip with actual artwork, couple comic inserts, that thing was the works!! - and that was $50 not 24 months ago or so.

In comparison, this is not nearly as much "value" if I have to be honest with what I am holding - a slight LED or something added to the bottom of the box would have been cheap/made this thing really pop.
However, what this does for me is possibly vindicate that origins sculpt, perhaps the skull I have been wanking about wanting to see was under that homer simpson make-up gun paint up?

    (edit: pic link corrected)

Yeah, it looks fairly cool. I still am not sure it was worth the price but it is still cool looking and the packaging is better than I thought it'd be.

These are already on eBay for insane prices. I'm wondering: when the custom makers get around to doing clear resin copies, will the prices will remain inflated for the original? Some people just want a clear Skeletor and have no need of an expensive box.
Most wanted Origins figures: Mighty Spector, Fisto's Cousin's Babysitter, and Mer-Man's Seventh Grade Crush.

Hm, glad I didn't get him. On the first preview pictures he looked crystal clear translucent. Now on actual in hands pictures, he's cloudy milky translucent.
There are some guys who do customs, including crystal clear translucent customs which look gorgeous. (If you're into translucent stuff)

FedEx. I wouldn’t be too worried yet. Most likely delayed due to the snow storm passing through the US. I got a shipping update 2 days ago then it’s been delayed since yesterday

I emailed customer service; they responded that my Skeletor would ship on 3-2-2021. Not sure why mine will take a month to ship out, when others have been receiving theirs since last weeK ?? LOL

I've had a label for what can only be the Creations Skeletor in my FedEx app since last week but it seemingly never got picked up. Wondering if a small batch showed up early and they randomly shipped them out. I ordered mine within seconds of it going live.

I'd give a false date out also, if I was bugged about something that was just shipped out on Friday. Two working days since.

I hate how most companies do stuff, and hold stuff so close to their chest. But man, when people find out something is shipping and they dont hear anything that second they feel the need to bombard with emails and social media. Give it time. At least a week. If you're a vinyl collector, reading mondo or waxworks social media when something ships is a nightmare.

At the same time, these shipping companies and USPS are a total joke. They were awful before last year, now they have an excuse they can throw out there and people will bite. USPS was trash before Trump and before Covid.

creating a label isn't the same as having something shipped

My Skelly was shipped 1/29 and said it'd be here on Sunday, 1/31. It's still sitting in PA, with a Pending status.

From The Pop Insider (Page 20):

The platform is fueling a new revenue stream that Dickson believes will continue for years to come. "We recognize that when we do these drops, there is significant demand," Dickson says. "We are selling out in minutes, and sometimes seconds... but these are limited runs and we're learning how to balance creating the collectible scarcity that some fans want while still pleasing as many people as possible. It's quickly become a place for new and existing fans to experience the joy of collecting toys."

Sounds like logical justification to bring back Classics.

No. That would be something people would want.
