My brother picked up 2 of the New Eternia Beast-Man figures for us at Target yesterday - to think to have this figure in hand even before BBTS has a preorder!

I've heard (unconfirmed) that Target has first-to-market exclusivity until July 15th.

I spoke to a Target employee in the Austin area. Apparently this store got New Eternia Beast Man on June 9thn and sold out on June 10th. They have not gotten another shipment yet. Also, they had a tag for him on their shelf.

It's similar to what Walmart had with Origins in 2020. When they first released, Walmart had first-to-market exclusivity through 2020. As soon as midnight hit on January 1st 2021, the pre-orders went up on BBTS and EE.

So I guess that's why we'd see stuff like 40th anniversary He-Man go up on bbts but then vanish, and why it wasn't until this month that preorders for wave 9 went up?
