    Howdy Doody !

    Hey folks,

Just wanted to say "Hi!" - I've embarked upon a project to build and restore an entire He-Man collection from scratch - and this forum and website has been invaluable in my hunt for old collections, loft clearances and general information on everything He-Man !

I'm sure I'll have a trade thread going on at some point - but I've got a mass box opening planned in the next few weeks. I've been hoarding a LOAD of boxes full of He-Man to open all at once from my hunting and purchasing over the past few months during and inbetween lockdowns. Once opened, I'll then get cracking assembling / repairing/ restoring everything and put up a trade thread to see if I have bits people need and vice versa.

He-Man was a major part of my childhood - the little messages at the end for upstanding morales have definitely served me well through life - so it will be good to go back and finally assemble the whole collection. I remember I had a modest collection as a kid - opening up HeMan figures at Christmas still has strong memories and feelings attached, so I'm really looking forward to putting my collection together.

The plan is to create a YouTube series on this, so I'll be sure to post a link or two as I go

I look forward to making the acquaintance of more He-Man fans through the forum. I've already had so many great conversations with people I've been picking bits up from !

    Thanks all!

I have done everything from replacing loose leg-bands to completely dismantling Spydor's motor to resolder and get it going and everything in between. I am not an expert or overly good at repairs, but I just gave everything a go until I got what I was trying to achieve. I will look forward to your collection updates.
Wow - it feels like you may well be handing over the baton ! I've re-evaluated a few hobbies during lockdown. I've been an avid Magic the Gathering Player for many many years, but the recent pandemic put a lot of local game stores out of action - or heavily restricted on numbers they can have in their shops because of social distancing. It's meant I haven't been as "hands on" building decks which has left a bit of a void. I've a few other hobbies (restoring old games consoles being another big one) - so thought it would be great to take a step down memory lane with He-Man and see if I can turn some of my adult life skills into good use there. I'm putting a lot of my Magic cards either into storage, or selling some off to fund this project.. so it's been mixed emotions so far !

I've also got ideas for a few custom figures, and scenery pieces too - so plan is to try and document it all vlog stylie for posterity (and who knows, some of you folks may enjoy watching too!)

Just a case of moving out the Magic stuff, then onto the He-Man restorations !!

    Watch this space!

So - it's Schrödinger's Boxes at the minute. I've been picking up a ton of collections - I really need to sort through it all once I unbox everything. If I've found something going really cheap (even if it has a lot of repeats), I've been snagging them up. My plan is to restore what I need, then sell of the rest (with equipment if possible) to fund the next purchases and missing bits. Ultimately I want to rebuild an Eternia playset - but, we'll need to move house to make space for that. I envision I'll be going at this project at a fast pace to begin with, with what I have - then things will slow down as I find myself trying to pick up some of the harder to find parts to complete things.

I know I'm missing a few of the later characters for sure, and some of the more expensive ones - but I reckon I've got a healthy head start all sat here boxed up. I'm sure we'll find out...

I'll be sure to post up the unboxing video(s) once they're live, so you can follow along too and see what I've got !
