    MOTU Origins & Super7 ReAction customs/fix ups

Hey everyone, here are some of my Origins and ReAction customs.

First up is the Origins Beast Man. I sculpted some new hands and feet over the original ones to give him a more feral look. Gave him a new paint job as well.

    Origins Trap Jaw

Trap Jaw was one of the first figures in the line that I wanted to fix up. I did some minor re-sculpting to his head to make it more in proportion with the vintage version. I also added his shoulder strap, drawing reference from the 200x and Classics versions. Lastly I have the figure a spanking new paint job.

    congrats!
amazing paintjobs, especially on beast-man and trap jaw: quite impressive.

looking at the style and the techniques used, i'd say you're a miniature painter, also: is it correct?

    Appreciate the comments everyone!

Charlie Brown - Yes you could say that, while I don't paint up a lot of table top game miniatures, I do paint up quite a bit of action figure-sized pieces

Awesome work, what did you use to resculp Beast-man hands and feet? Looks like plastic.

I used epoxy clay for the sculpt work.

What brand? I've only tried Apoxie Sculpt. My only issue is that it can be brittle.

I don't know what Dory used, but Milliput is popular. It's very strong one hardened.

it's kinda crazy how impressive that whole treatment is... it's almost like making an Origins into a Classics.

I use a brand called EpoPutty. It's not specifically meant for sculpting, but it's pretty much the same as Apoxie sculpt. From my experience epoxy clay is extremely hardy, especially compared to other sculpting clays like sculpey.
