Netflix released a bunch of short teaser clips for various shows coming in May 2020, including one for She-Ra and the Princesses of Power's fifth and final season. (Coming to Netflix on May 15th) Start at the 6:20 mark in the video.

I think Season 5 will be the last season (unless they split it and make 2 seasons out of it) as that will fill out the four 13 episode arcs They spoke about back when the series was announced. But who knows, maybe they will start a new Arc after this one.

I'd really love a new arc after the last season.

The performance review released a while back was sort of encouraging.

I'd really love to see the individual princesses explored more and Etheria is endlessly interesting (the and greater universe including potentially Primus and Eternia would be really interesting to see through Noelle and her teams lens)

We never really got to see any stories from the OG series set on a liberated Etheria, that could be cool. What internal dramas would emerge when the Horde is gone?

It's just the rumour mill wheel going around, but there's been some suggestions of another mid-late April release, though nothing concrete or official! Then again, it's the same mill that's been saying the show has lost over 80% of its audience since the first season, so who knows!

I can't wait. This is probably my favorite piece of MOTU related media (although the DC comics are a close second), so I have really high hopes. Noelle's probably my favorite person in the modern comics industry, and this is probably my favorite thing of hers to date.

If they go that route, I hope they're Origins compatible, but don't use Origins parts (reboot Bow on the Origins buck is a really really cursed concept). Like, give them a similar size and articulation I guess. But overall I'd rather just get more dolls. Or even the same dolls in new outfits (Princess Prom outfits, Force Captain Catra, and Queen Glimmer would be great variants).

Mattel is not going to release anything else. As soon as the last batch of episodes hit Netflix, this one-time one-of-a-kind version of She-Ra will be over for good. They haven't mentioned it in any way, even though it's the only ongoing mass-media incarnation of the Motuverse (which has also reintroduced the brand to a whole new audience and demographic and can boast a sizeable and devoted fanbase and following), at the big press conference where they announced their vision and plans for the future "renaisssance" of the brand, where they conspicuously avoided even acknowledging the very existence of anything post-vintage. It's as though they're trying hard to bury deep down into oblivion everything MotU that's happened since the 80s until the announced "brand relaunch" next year, including the currently running incarnation of She-Ra.
