I'm afraid to never be able to answer that question my friend, as I never felt attracted to that vehicle
for aesthetic matters. It does look super-goofy to me. Maybe The 4H and their magic skills could have glorified this machine but
as far as we know their contribution for that brand seems pretty close to zero right now.

Anyways, let's get this thing back on its tracks !

I love the silly thing, but I got it for Christmas one year so... yeah sentimental attachment. Really a lot of the vintage MOTU stuff is "super-goofy" just look.

It is awesome, I have a working vintage one. I love the thing, but it just so damn silly. It's another one that has sentimental attachment for me. I woke up on Easter morning one year, I must have been 4, and there it was.

I remember having the vintage one. I loved the jaw chomping action.

We talked about this in the Origins thread. The listing (on BBTS) per Mattel says it's up scaled. I'm hoping that means that the vehicle may be a touch large for the Origins and a touch small for Classics but hopefully they have found a happy medium to satisfy both fan bases. But until it comes out we won't know.

On BBTS, "This large-scale model of Skeletor's iconic attack vehicle has ferocious jaws that chomp up and down as its wheels roll."
The Origins He-man figure does appear to be swimming in that driver's seat.

If we are going by the photo shared by Smitty.81 , it seems a Classics figure might able to fit inside but the vehicle would look under scale (I know technically, it is). I hope I am wrong though, I would like to have it work for my Classics figs.

Legs are bit short or too long?

And how does the vintage one have a better, more metallic paint job on the guns than the new one?

I seriously don't understand some of the design choices with this line.

I think what he meant was that the the legs are a bit long for the design, Honestly why wouldn't Mattel, do some forward thinking on this make it just enough for the Classics figure to fit in so that you can double sell these for both origins and classics, it bewilders me?

Seems like a no-brainer to me too. All vehicles should be made large enough to accomodate 7" figures. You can bet that Scott and the 4H would have thought of that...

Also, I love that the new Landshark is bigger than the vintage, but the guns are a little disappointing. Certainly not a deal breaker though.

Worst case scenario, we could take the boots off a Classics figure and stick them in there for display purposes.

I agree it is silly not to make these vehicles work for Classics sized figures, too. At least for the vehicles we didn't get in Classics...

I'm seriously considering getting this (my first Origins purchase) to put with my Classics collection, and then trying my hand at repainting it in order to give it more detail. Hmmm...

Updated the first post thanks to Krennot, he sent these over, the last shot shows the real issue where the feet have to go thru the opening in the mouth to really make it fit, and on a classics figure he cant even reach the handles to maneuver it, so if he cant i cant imagine an origins figure being able to reach it, so what's the deal with that?

Mine is arriving today from Amazon and I'm so, so excited! Definitely one of my favorite vintage vehicles. Probably this and the Roton are my two favorites.

Landshark returns in all of its mighty! Finally after more than 30 years!!

but I can't wait for ROTON in Origins, yeah we had a Classic version and believe me it was cool and super detailed but having a smaller ROTON just like the vintage one woudl totally be cool.
Hopefully this time around also the ROAD RIPPER will also get some due respect but vehicles in general all are dificult to make and require a lot of tooling, we'll see about more than just carded figures

The one I ordered from Amazon arrived earlier today and itís outstanding. Super solid and it looks great.

The vintage Landshark was one of my favorite vehicles as a kid and this brings it all back. I absolutely love it.

I have always found VINTAGE vehicles to be passable for scale for MOTUC... so of course the "bigger than vintage" Origins vehicles will work in my opinion.

The Land Shark looks nice in hand but Classics figures cannot fit in correctly because of the feet as others have pointed out. I wish this was just plussed up in size by 1/3rd or 2/5ths, it'd probably be fine in that case for Classics.

This is the only Origins release I plan on owning. Wish MOTUC was still being released - so many vintage vehicles left to make. At least we got the Wind Raider, Roton, Battle Ram, etc...

Fingers crossed Mattel rethinks this as I'd happily shell out more dough for proper and amazing Four Horsemen sculpted Classics we're missing.
