Okay, I was able to spend some time posing, changing pieces, and attaching accessories to the Wave 1 figures...
Mon*Star is a massive figure, but feels a bit hollow? I'm not sure how else to describe him... I was picturing a little more heft with his size. Of course, this isn't necessarily a bad thing, and all of his joints are tight so he poses really well. Plus, he just looks so menacing compared to all of the others due to his intimidating stature. Color seems fine to me... I would certainly have preferred an almost entirely red scheme, but what's here still looks great.
Sadly, I think Quicksilver is not only the weakest figure in this wave, but in the whole line so far. And, this has very little to do with his paint / color choice... instead, I'm more disappointed with his overall quality. The torso feels very lightweight and empty, and on mine, the seams leading up to the neck joint are slightly separated. Because of this, his head peg is wobbly...Beyond that, Quicksilver's unmasked head is huge! They made it too big for his body, so (for me) he will have to be posed with his visor on all the time. Lastly, his 'winged' arms have a weird bend at the elbow instead of them being straight out, like Steelwill's extra arms.
Steelheart is a great figure. I'm totally fine with her paint/color scheme and articulation. Sure, I would have liked a bit more lower body movement, but her sculpt looks great and she can get some really cool poses with her different hands and arms. Really, the only negative I'd give her is the face sculpt... it looks fine, but I wish that Super 7 went the extra mile for her face. It's just too soft and needs some sharper definition.
Now, Buzz-Saw... oh, yes: Buzz-Saw! As one of my all-time favorite 80's toys, I was really looking forward to Super 7's Buzz-Saw, despite his cartoon color scheme. Well, for me, Buzz-Saw is the standout hit of wave one. He is a massive figure, second only to Mon*Star, and he looks fantastic! He even comes with his arm cannon attachment... something I either forgot, or never knew about because I was pleasantly surprised. I immediately replaced his head with the open-mouth version, and it looks awesome! Plus, other than his left shoulder, all of the blades on mine spin very well. FYI, if you replace the head, be careful as I smudged the chin on the default head as I was pulling it off... mostly because he has no neck and that dang saw in his head hurts when you pull on it!
On the whole, I do get a bit giddy when I see them all posed together in the display... I honestly never thought that this would ever happen. The figures should have higher quality for the price and the lack of metallic paint is a bummer, but there is no denying how fabulous these figures look as a group.
I'm looking forward to Wave 3 even more now!
However, I still think that Bluegrass is best figure out of them all so far... and that's not entirely me being biased either!![]()

I have Buzzsaw in my cart (along w/ Capt. Deadstar from the Worst) on EE and just thinking things over lol.
When S7 does the inevitable toy variant, it'd be fun if one of the heads was extended up like how the you activated the spinning mechanism on the vintage figure lol.
All I'm interested in right now is whether or not they're going to unveil the fourth wave before the end of this month, as planned ...

Opened my SilverHawks. I've yet to open Armored Mon*Star.
Everyone else is good so far, but Quicksilver is the most troubling. I'm guessing he might have been the first to be designed, so everything that went wrong with Quicksilver was fixed with the other Hawks. His head is a tiny bit loose. The scale on his head is bigger than the others. At first, I thought it was his "hair", but his head should be a little smaller, matching Steelwill. I wish his gray "skin" were more in the pale blue range, like the cartoon. The gray is more brownish in color. I think his fists could be a size bigger. Tally Hawk doesn't clip onto his forearm.
I think his height is fine. If he had the correct sized head, he would fit in better.

If they do... I really hope they announce Copper Kid, Flashback, Melodia, and Hardware.
That way, I could still be happy knowing we got all the major players without any glaring holes if the line ends after Wave 4.
Anything else (Poker Face, Timestopper, Condor, Moon Stryker, etc.) would be icing on the cake. However, I would lament the fact that we did not get Yes-Man...
...or the Miraj
......or the Sky-Runner

@Ornclown
Yeah ... Sky Runner ... Tell me about it ! I'm at the critical point right now (space wise )where I'm being asked to choose
about what will be the very last behemoth to be added in my considerable collection
(Motuc / Thundercats / silverhawks / DBZ SHF / Conan Ultimates / Masterverse / Mythic Legions).
So I don't even dare to imagine for a second how enormously big a Sky Runner would turn out to be, judging
by the transformed Moon*Star that is currently arriving on our shelves.
Besides, I'm living in Europe, where the average apartment is smaller that what you might find in america
(space wise again).

How realistic would a Hot Seat be? Not the whole Miraj, but only the Hot Seat? And how much would it be?

My money is on Copper Kidd, Flashback, Melodia and Poker Face.
I think they might sell Condor and Moonstryker together in Wave 5. Hardware and Yes Man finish out the Mob.

Id prefer Seymour & Zeke over Flashback, Moon Stryker, etc
Finally got Buzz-Saw, once of the nicest-looking, most frustrating figures I've ever owned.
First, the gripes:
- It's really, really difficult to swap out his heads.
- It's also difficult to swap out his pull cords, and the extended versions of these are pretty pointless as I can't figure out a way to make it look like he's pulling on them. Has anybody else been able to do this?
- My biggest complaint is that my figure's right arm falls off whenever I move it. It can't be rotated at all without popping right off.
- Shredator is in an odd pose. He's not exactly flying, not exactly standing. He's flat as a pancake and is going to be difficult to place in the display without looking like roadkill or like someone stepped on him.
- By the time I was done messing around with the figure, my desk was covered in yellow paint flakes.
The positives:
- Perfect sculpt
- Excellent scale
- All the blades spin freely and are SHARP
This is one of those figures that you get into a sweet pose, put it in the display, and then don't touch it again. It's a centerpiece figure, but not exactly fun to "play" with.

First : WOW. Credit where credit is due, that is pretty spot on. All the baddies look great, even if MonStar's colors were... a choice.
Second : Sucks to hear the paint is flaking so badly from moving him. You'd think they would just cast in those colors. Even the joint pegs could be "Close enough" cause when it peels, it looks terrible.

Here's an updated display pic to include Buzz-Saw. It stinks to consider it'll be early 2024 before any more get released.
On a more positive note, this past week Brian Flynn responded to a Toy Galaxy tweet saying that Super7 is has two more waves of Silverhawks in the pipeline. This was in response to a question as to whether or not S'Hawks Ultimates were dead/Super7 had lost the rights to them.

Thanks a lot Wakko for all the pictures.
I wanted to wait and see how wave 1 came out before committing to the entire line but your pictures convinced me. They're not perfect but IMO they look great overall.

This makes me happy.
However, I would still want to see -at the very least- Melodia, Hardware, and Copper Kidd in wave 4.... because I'm greedy!
Throw Poker Face and Yes-Man into wave 5 and I'm good... but whatever happens, I pray that Super 7 doesn't hold Kidd captive until the bitter end!!

Very glad to hear this as well. I do wish someone would press Brian for a reason why wave 3 got pushed from September 2023 to February and then March 2024. It doesn't make me worried about the line, just bugged that we're nearly a year out from another wave. What is happening? Brian indicated that things are now on track...and then they aren't. Boo.

I'm betting they keep bumping any SilverHawks products back in the production schedule whenever any of their better-selling lines (which would pretty much be ANY of them) are ready to go. "Our seven SilverHawks fans can wait... we've got Turtles to make!"
I'm also wondering if the delay might be caused because they want to address production issues in this line before making more. Because as nice as these look, there's been SOMETHING wrong with almost every figure I've gotten. Randomly loose joints and arms that easily fall off.

Sad that the new Marvel Legends Ultron figure has more of a shiny silver sheen than these "Silverhawks".
