I baffling how Ramen Toys were able to design a figures and get it released so quick and the Ultimates are still delayed.

In Quicksilver's case, that sculpt was actually made years earlier. Done as fanart by the sculptor. So possibly a shorter develpment time on him. But yeah their turnaround in general seems pretty brisk...also they actually seem to listen to their customers and adjust accordingly.

Yes, they listened to the critcisms of the 80s commander/Centurions and adjusted the joints and looks of the figures.

Series 2 will arrive before series 1...

I wonder how much adjustment series 1 will actually undergo to fix all of the issues with the samples that were shown.

I hope that it's more attention than Cheetara got, which was essentially nothing, leading to a long delay resulting in the same erroneous figure that was supposed to be corrected.

Was that posted somewhere about wave 2 coming before 1? I'm not surprised, of course.... I'm sure they are doing some major fine tuning on wave 1, as they should. Guess we'll see!

It was mentioned in an 'End of year Ultimates update' email that they sent out:

    "Silverhawks
Wave 1 (Armored Mon*Star, Quicksilver, Buzz-Saw, Steelheart) - Leaving the factory in March and shipping to customers in late-April.
Wave 2 (Bluegrass, Mon*Star Pre-Transformation, Steelwill, Windhammer, Mon*Star's Throne) - In production and leaving the factory soon. Shipping to customers in late-February. (It has jumped ahead of Wave 1)
Wave 3 (Commander Stargazer, Hotwing, Mumbo Jumbo, Mo-Lec-U-Lar) - In tooling at the factory. Leaving the factory late-July and shipping to customers mid-September."

Surprisingly I had to wonder, "Has there been any recent Silverhawk news," and found this by chance without any of my regular toy/website haunts telling me there were some new sample reveals released.

They look promising, but I'm still not convinced until I see them in person. And I'm still p*ssed off that Bluegrass didn't get his scarf fixed >

Yep, the email that depp mentioned is where Super 7 essentially outlined their entire roadmap for the beginning / mid 2023...

God, I really hope that they listened to fan feedback this time... that Quicksilver needed some serious fixing.

Bluegrass is my favorite SilverHawks character... I want him to turn out more than any of the others.

Scarf is wrong, and according to this video, his hat is way too big. It looks like one of those novelty foam cowboy hats you'd wear to a college football game.

Ugh... Fwoosh is so hard for me to watch. Some people can interview, some people can't.... plus, every time Brian showed something in package, he had the screen split so you couldn't see much in such a tiny window.

Anyhooooo..... This is crazy... I really REALLY hope they fix these figures as they should be. I desperately want these to be right.

The fwoosh guy always comes off as a bit sycophantic to me...always agreeing with whatever Brian says. I get that these interviews needs to be a pleasant experience but, it all just seems one sided.

That and the uncomfortable laugh.... But, yes, agreed.

Wave 2 has arrived first, and they've turned out very well for everyone concerned regarding sculpts and shininess. Check out some in-hand reviews on YouTube.

Got mine yesterday. The decision to make the finish on the 'hawks actually duller than your average figure's finish is one that will forever frustrate and baffle me, but I still love these figures regardless.

I love the setup! Where did you get the framed Thundercats Cat’s Lair poster?

I got Steelwill and Windhammer last week...

But, I'm still waiting on the others. (BBTS shipped them separately for some reason...)

I agree with Wakko... the complete lack of SILVER in these Silverhawks is weird, but at the end of the day, I actually really like them!

(I feel that the villains will be the strongest aspect of this line as a whole.)

Cannot wait for the others... and the eventual announcement of Hardware (one of my favs) and Copper Kid!

Oddly I got Mon*Star's throne first from BBTS as the first anything for Silverhawks. The ones I ordered right from Super7 are taking their time so I went and got Mon*Star from BBTS too and THAT came before any word on the original orders. Anyway, it's really cool to have that Mon*Star in hand though after all these years. I didn't expect it to be like getting Shadow Weaver, but I guess I underestimated how much his look meant to me.

Yes, I'm eager for those too as well. I think Kenner's figure for Hadware was my favorite in that line. I hope the kid doesn't have to wait for Flashback, Moon Stryker, and Condor to all come first though. Wily Kat got last place too.

It's an image I found online that I took to a local office supply store to print as a poster.

I dropped Mon-star in his non-armored form at the last second. The other three are due to arrive today. Got really frustrated having to purchase these when I'd already paid for Wave 1 and got cold feet. Cancelled Mon-star hours before I would have been charged. Was hoping to be able to make my mind up about waves 2 & 3 based on wave 1.

They look great in your setup though Wakko!

So far only got Mon-Star but the paint on one of the heads is rather suckful so put in for an exchange with EE and also reached out to S7 for a replacement head. Whichever comes first.

Got wave 2 within a week of getting the Thundertank. With the LJN Thundercats wave a few weeks ago, it has been the best toy season since Christmas 1983!

Allowed me to set up this display of the best of the worst!

Love your setup, too. What flight stands are you using for the Silverhawks?

They are called Whippy Superpose, but I bought them quite some time ago when I was collecting DC Universe Classics, and I don't think they make them anymore.
