I don’t really remember the show too well but I know I saw it. Looking back we had a pretty decent collection of the toys. We had Quicksilver, Stargazer, the green guy, Monstar, Buzzsaw, Mumbo Jumbo, and Molecular. Oh, and the huge Tally Hawk! I imagine out parents got them on clearance or something. The villains more or less worked with MOTU (which we always went back to, even into the mid 90s as grunge music and Super Nintendo were more important in my world), so I still have a lot of fondness for them.

Ee replaced my steelwill and a Soundwave legacy core that had 2 right forearms. So that's cool and makes it worth it. Soundwave is useless but steelwill can be used for parts for a custom motuc.

I messed around with my Steelwill figure today for the first time, and I'm afraid I have to agree. His limbs are seriously loose and his shoulders fall out of the sockets super easily. I could barely put him holding either of his guns in a realistic pose without his arms falling off. His head is a bobble as well and his legs are floppy. For putting him on a flight stand and leaving him alone, he's great, but for playing/posing, he's really problematic.

Y'all think we will legit see these on discount later?
There were some serious deals on ultimates at the end of last year
I think that it's a good bet we'll see big discounts on the Silverhawks.
If tradition stands, places like Amazon have been selling TC Ultimates and TMNT Ultimates for under MSRP... sometimes WAY under.
Silverhawks is a more niche brand, thus making it a good candidate for price cuts.

That's mainly because sellers were fooled into buying Ultimates thinking that runs would be one and done with small purchase windows. None of that actually happened, which then left a MASSIVE surplus on the market which exceeded the demand.
I don't know if it will happen with Silver Hawks or not as there's no way to know how many sellers caught on to what was happening before they placed orders for those, but what I can say is that I wouldn't get too comfortable with these discounts for long.
Product will eventually dry up as orders and investor confidence is non-existent. The cat is out of the bag with this stuff and I can't imagine too many people buying these things to make money anymore. Super 7's sales must be in the absolute gutter for the newer stuff as the secondary market has absolutely collapsed and, by their own hand might I add.
I just got my Wave 2 Silverhawks. I ordered the entire wave, plus throne.
Short version is that they are pretty good in terms of QC and are fun toys.
My biggest QC complaint is the same complaint I have with Neca currently, the joints are painted and it leads to some chipping/flaking paint.
It's not a huge problem with the Silverhawks, but it's still there.
Bluegrass and Steelwill look great.
They lack double jointed knees but both get slightly better than 90 degrees.
They both have the appropriate torso articulation joint, but they don't have a full range of movement.
TMNT Ultimates Scratch has a fully functioning torso joint. What happened here?
I thought Windhammer would blow my socks off, but instead he's just really cool.
Monstar is great. I love his design. Be careful though, moving the torso joint caused some paint scraping on his back.
-----
Overall these are overpriced...but every toy by Neca, Hasbro, Mattel, Storm Collectibles, and Mafex are overpriced in my opinion.
These are pretty great overall in terms of paint, tooling, accessories, and QC.
They're not perfect, but I'm happy with them.
Yup, it's the plastic they use. Few of the ultimate figures share this plastic and the joints will wear out fast. I like the plastic that was used for motuc. It had some give to it and paint bit to it incredibly. Contact the seller and tell them this. Hopefully it's a company that fixes issues. I was gonna maybe get this line despite no connection, but now I'm like I don't think I am gonna waste all that money. Just wish they'd just fix all these on going issues that we see all the time. It will be their own fault when everyone gives up on them.

Anybody else worried?
SilverHawks has completely disappeared from Super7's website.
No past product, no upcoming product, no nothing.
Apparently someone on Reddit reached out to them to inquire and was only told, "All pre-ordered figures will still be delivered to customers" and that the only reason SilverHawks doesn't appear on the website is because there is no current product available... but that isn't stopping them from showing unavailable product from other licenses like ThunderCats.
Thoughts?

I wanna say they thought they owned it but it somehow ended up that they didnt and Warner Bros still owns it.
Which is why the animated show with Nachell that was announced didnt happen and the licensed Ramen Toys figures are now unlicensed and called Titanium Titans.
But...the copyright info on these figures is 2023 Silverhawks,LLC and no Warner Bros mention at all, so I dont know. A very odd situation.
Wave 1 is on the water right now so that's still happening regardless. Beyond that, who knows..
Interesting, but I think worry is premature. I noticed this happened to Thundercats on the site once or twice (got me concerned). Less dramatic, Mandora had disappeared from the site for months until just recently and the entire LJN wave doesn't exist there.
It might (hopefully) be because Silverhawks stuff is finally moving and things are adjusting on the site. Recently, Brian has made mention of planned future Silverhawks waves (preorders in July and November, I think) in interviews.
Mildly concerned but not too worried yet.

Well, the trademark is still owned by Silverhawks, LLC, which is owned by Supernova Licensing LLC, which is owned by Brian Flynn. No mention of Warner Bros anywhere.
Just came across this interview with Super7 brand manager, Mondo.
https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=xCuB6E...YW4gZmx5bm4%3D
It's from three weeks ago and so a bit before the changes to the Super7 website. Still, starting around 29:50 they begin talking about Silverhawks and the future of the line. Lots of stuff envisioned, even some allusions to the hope of vehicles large(!) and smaller (space taxi, Hot-Seat). Melodia. Souped-up Mumbo Jumbo.
Still curious about the website. The line being in peril would be quite a quick about-face in light of this interview and others with Brian Flynn from recent months, though.

Retro Toy Escapades has a short video of Quicksilver and Mon*Star. I have to admit that Quicksilver actually looks alot duller than I thought he did before.

That looks like a very matte light gray to me.
Soo Wave 1 paint doesnt match wave 2 it seems. That is seriously dull and lifeless looking.
Also nice to see they never fixed ANY of the color issues on MonStar. Theres a lot of questionable paint apps on him, but im sure the s7 fans will love eat it up even if it looks nothing like its supposed to. I have no idea why no one there understands color.

From Super 7:
Silverhawks Wave 1 (Armored Mon*Star, Quicksilver, Buzz-Saw, Steelheart) - Left the factory at the beginning of April (2023) and shipping to customers in mid-May 2023.
Silverhawks Wave 3 (Comm. Stargazer, Hotwing, Mumbo-Jumbo, Mo-Lec-U-Lar) - Scheduled to leave the factory middle of December (2023) and ship to customers early-February 2024.

What the freak is up with the nine month gap between waves one and three? Holy crap. And that's even with wave one arriving massively late.
My gut tells me this line's sales are abysmal and wave 3 got pushed back at the factory in favor of something else that sells better. We're apparently now getting ThinderCats wave 8 before SilverHawks wave 3, even though the latter was solicited first.

The paint choices being made in this line are absolutely mind boggling. It's like they're actively trying to get it wrong. I just. Don't. Get it.

Silverhawks got all kinda delayed and messed up because of the legal issues. People chose to believe these toy reviewers … (again nothing personal against the guy) but Brian said several times s7 owns silverhawks. Even their website confirmed it.
They don’t. Look up the trademark and who filed it.
I’ll say this, the more people keep believing S7 and their toy reviewer inner circle the more they’ll keep taking the bag and feeding people less than stellar quality. Someone prove me wrong, I’d LOVE to be wrong here.
Edit : as per the paint, Brian said they are going for cartoon accuracy. But they aren’t. They are even more off model than the thundercats. monstar doesn’t have half of those colors on him. But people like the fwoosh (again not a personal attack) say “wow that’s great!” And Tcats org goes “OMG MY LIFE IS COMPLETE” so Brian sees no problem and gives a green light.
A toy reviewer should review fairly. I have yet to see one person actually correct a mistake Brian makes in an interview. I’d love nothing more than those sites to be respectful and honest and offer help making a better product for everyone. But they aren’t balanced, they’re biast.

I'd be interested in seeing what leads you to believe that Brian Flynn doesn't own Silverhawks. Just a few days ago, I did my own research and found the following (with links):
Well, the trademark is still owned by Silverhawks, LLC, which is owned by Supernova Licensing LLC, which is owned by Brian Flynn.
