S7's Destro and Bat (and their boxes) too and most likely their Czarface Ultimate will be too. Final product is a very far cry from "we're gonna make them as shiny as possible!"-brian Flynn's own words back then. Oh well...

Finally ordered Buzzsaw (no Deadstar but a couple of Marvel Legends too). And that is going to be my final S7 Ultimates purchase for the year, unless some kind of sale happens that is too good to pass up. Really looking forward to wave 3 though.

Because there was a legal issue where they weren't sure if they could even continue I would bet based on the online copyright filings. Super7 took advantage of a lapse and filed for party goods and drinkware and claimed ownership of everything, while they licensed out to Nacel and Ramen. Turns out WB shut that down and everything got delayed. Super7 will continue their figures but everything got delayed.

I'm also wondering if the delay might be caused because they want to address production issues in this line before making more. Because as nice as these look, there's been SOMETHING wrong with almost every figure I've gotten. Randomly loose joints and arms that easily fall off.

    Super7 SilverHawks Figures - CONFIRMED

The Geek-Men and the Masters of the ThunderNerds interview with Brian Flynn just dropped. Brian revealed that wave 5 will be like the Thundercats Mandora and Electro-Charger "wave."

Copper Kidd and the Space Racer.

Wave four has some stuff in it the factory is resisting working on and Brian is trying to sway them.

An interesting listen (not nearly through it yet). Some more behind the scenes stuff that is helpful to hear (unpainted G.I. Joe wave 2 faces, etc.).

I wonder if there's any chance of Copper Kidd & Time Stopper being a two-pack, since they'd be smaller figures. It'd be a nice way to round out the main characters while keeping each wave to four "releases."

At this point, I've got my Wave 2 figures from BBTS and I'm waiting on any indication that Wave 1 has shipped from Super7. I kind of want to open them all at once, but the Bluegrass is calling me.

ETA: Aaaand I just saw the bit about Copper Kidd and the Space Racer. That's another alternative, and one I'll happily take!

Kinda crazy how Brian acknowledges people complaining about colors and other valid things but doesn’t do anything about it. Claiming people like to attack him online… no ones attacking him, people who pay 300 dollars for 2 sets at a time have VALID concerns.

The digital renders are one thing, but when he has in hand figures that should be gospel. Then shipping something that looks nothing like the hard copy is straight up wrong. The worse part is they don’t even do refunds while ordering direct… fool me once.

The gi joe thing is just a mess. Can’t believe that happened.

So... Wave 5 is Copper Kidd and Space Racer, while Wave 6 could be Hardware, Flashback, Melodia, Moon Stryker?

Maybe they'll add a third villain to Wave 6 since Kidd is coming Wave 5? Possibly Yes-Man or Poker Face...

It seems that Super 7 needs to start looking for a new factory if "things out of our control" continue to happen over and over... just sayin'.

Has the license to make toys, doesn’t own the license. Lots of arguing about this online (for some reason) WB owns Silverhawks top to bottom.

Super7 not only need a new factory, they need a better Qc team. That’s not a dig at all, every single wave of every single line has issues, that’s factual. They absolutely can make good stuff they just need better options.

So we know what wave 6 could be? Then who's in wave 4?

    What happened with GI Joe?
Wave 2 had cast plastic and not painted faces. Brian acknowledge the mistake and how the factory screwed up and moved the convo forward. No fix addressed.

Super7 is always thinking about tomorrow’s dollar and product, when it was yesterday’s customer that brought you the freedom to make another dollar tomorrow. Probably the only cool thing they’ve done was send the apron out for the simpsons figure.

I understand factory’s screw up. I get it. They all do. But if you look how careful Neca is even at half the price, it’s insane. Super7 has got to stop pretending they are so niche. They are in target, Walmart, Best Buy, every comic store, have con exclusives …. They aren’t as small as you’d think. They can absolutely lock things down.

Problem is customers for certain lines are like cults and have plastic addictions. Nothing they make even holds value because it’s not quality. If someone liked their Silverhawks, I am SO happy for them. They are a better person than me, but at 65 dollars and 2 years I want something that looks like what I was sold.

Do you know, what about the Ramen Toy sub-license?
    Will they continue?

Just curious. I actually prefer the sculpt (and price) of the S7 version. But the silver on that ramen Quicksilver is pretty sweet.

    That’s pretty much done.

Super7 obtained the license through a lapse using a filing for Cups and party supplies and claimed ownership over everything. They subbed to Ramen and Nacel and WB shut all of that down. Based on the legal documents Super7 are lucky to be making these still. I’m sure they ironed it out since WB also has Thundercats, but I can’t see 7 ever going deep into Hawks. Despite what they tout, the sales CANT be there.

50 percent of the die hard silverhawks fans I know (major collectors of EVERYTHING Hawks) bailed because of the way they turned out. So if they aren’t buying these are just appealing so a smaller crowd. But if the crowd loves them, cool beans!!!

I am curious to see their reaction figures though, supposedly they are chromed.

    Lol.

I did laugh when I saw this but neglected to make it known. It is funny, though. Well played.

There's no accounting for taste, but, in the end, I think Quicksilver would have looked pretty bad in a more metal-looking paint. I have the Super7 Destro and, while it looks great on him, I just don't think it would have translated into anything good on the Silverhawks figures for a number of reasons. But, as I've said before, I like the color blue and do not like pineapple on pizza. Arguing for preferences that have known, unknown, or no reason becomes silly.

    Still, great pic!

It's weird, seeing this whitish-blue pastel for Quicksilver in the intro, but the toy looks so dull.

Now, I'm actually hoping for a Dark Hawk, if only for S7 to do Quicksilver better (more screen accurate colors, smaller figure in general and include a smaller Quicksilver head. They can cut Tally Hawk).

It's not exactly about having "a new factory".

They have at least five or six they use. Possibly dozens.

If one factory does do a good job, they essentially have no leverage to secure it on the time table they need the next time.

It sounds like, essentially, they're constantly searching for a factory that will book them for a wave.

All of mine have arrived, and I'm slowly working my way through opening them. I think my standards are just lower than everyone else's, because I'm really impressed with everything so far. Windhammer and Bluegrass are the standouts at the moment for me, just top-notch figures. Mon*Star is nicely hefty, though I wish his leg joints were slightly stiffer. I don't mind the deco stuff on Quicksilver; what I do mind is that Tally-Hawk doesn't clip to his arm in any way. Also, I definitely could have used a little instruction sheet because I only now realized the deltoid comes off the arm so you can use the lasers when they're not in "wing" mode.

But overall, I'm not upset with the purchase. These are vastly closer to the ideal figures I had in my mind as a kid, and it's hard to complain about that.

I really like them too. They are even better in-hand. I can clip all of the hawks to their respective figures, but they have to go on just-right. The scale on these are wild. Mon*Star and Buzz-Saw are huge.

Bluegrass and Windhammer are easily my two favorite figures in this line (and will probably remain so even after the next waves hit... )

I completely agree with you on Mon*Star's legs. My figure has weak ankle joints, thus Mon*Star has toppled over on a few occasions... I'm not sure how to rectify this.

All in all, I do like these figures quite a bit. They look fantastic together and can be posed in a ton of cool ways given all their accessories / parts.

I just wish that Quicksilver was designed / engineered better. I can't get over his huge, bulbous head! He stands out as the weakest figure in the line to me.

Have you guys ever tried this Kiki’s Fix Loose Joints on your figures? Perhaps that’ll help that Mon*Star 🤔

Been considering trying this stuff on a couple Masterverse figs…

Saw these figures in person in a local collector store yesterday, and they looked quite good, so I think I'm going to pull the trigger on this line. Makes me wonder where the store got them however because they're selling them for the same price as Super7 or BBTS online - how can they make a profit??
