Absolutely we need them and artifacts.

I think a NECA Xanatos in his mech gargoyle armour would really look amazing.

YES! I was hoping Thialog was more than just a goliath repaint and more like he looked later with armor etc.

Xanatos was the only Gargoyles figure I ever owned. Actually got it before I seen the cartoon, just thought it looked cool.

I hope Lexington is the next reveal, but I appreciate they're not putting these up too quickly either. I'd rather have skipped Thailog and gone straight to a Demona preorder though. And yeah, I want Thailog in his armor.

There’s really no “slot” he’s taking up. It’s a cheap repaint to help fund other figures but I agree, I’d rather have the armored version as well. That’s more iconic to me.

He is though. Neca said they had 8 figures planed in the line. Thailog is taking up one of those 8 spots. I can come up with at least 15 characters that deserve figures before Thailog.

Yes, 8 planned BECAUSE they did a repaint to help pay for the unique tooling on others like Bronx etc. Without a repaint we may not have had as many as 8. If they weren't trying to do a cheap repaint they would have done the armored up version most people think of Thailog for.

I'm not debating that, but my point still stands though. He's still taking up one of the planned 8 slots, which you said he wasn't. Nothing you've said has debunked my initial point.

Ew, only 8 *counting* Thailog? That leaves no room for Angela then. Hmm, I somehow thought characters like her, Coldstone, and a Steel Clan robot at least were all going to be included. Dang. Even sticking just to the (mostly) gargoyle species, you'd have Desdemona/Coldfire, Iago/Coldsteel, Delilah and the clones, plus the Mayan, Avalon, London, and Ishimura Clans, who'd all make appealing figures. Oh gosh, and no Eye of Odin Goliath?!

I’m not trying to “debunk” anything. Of course if 8 figures are released and he is one of them then that mens he’s one of the 8?

I was saying if not for him neca wouldn’t have likely been able to make 8 total to begin with. All lines work like this. Very nom8nal tooled figures help pay for the other fully tooled, unique figures. Without the repaints we don’t get the fully tooled figures.

It's pretty cool NECA are making all the main characters from the show.

Demona has been out in some Target stores and would be this wacky Haulathon exclusive. However, it should be on pre-order internationally at their site; do you know when it would be available?
Great trade orgers: Son of Keldor - sdilks -JeMaBo2 x3 - Kowl - Bigassbuzz (Hyveofvillany) - Queen Marlena - mikescab - whitespyders

In about a month Randy said. Same with the TMNT Mirage Fugitoid. Target just gets first dibs on them.

The lack of closed wings for the new figures is really upsetting. I don't understand it. I can already see Randy putting out an accessory pack with the other ones to get extra sales.

This should have been included, standard, with each gargoyle... not many people can dedicate 20" or more of display space because of wingspan...

I loved Gargoyles when I was a kid and seeing Brooklyn is making it damn hard to resist this line. They all look great, really.

Apparently there are issues with Demona's wings. MadHatter and GeekDadLife on Youtube have both posted videos of either faulty or broken wings. MadHatter got two with broken wings and GeekDadLife's figure the wing won't stay up. Just flops down. He showed the way the wing was manufactured and it looks like a serious flaw they will all probably wind up having. Serious weak point in how the joint is held together.

Just thought I'd pass on the news in case anyone is considering it - go in with open eyes.

Oof I saw those! Can’t believe how bad that was designed. I got Goliath and honestly as beautiful as it was, the figure just looks over sized and I’m not feeling the hybrid of cartoon and hyper realism. The wings are huge and I’d have to buy another figure to display this one with closed wings …? I wanted to go all in but honestly the Kenner ones capture the feel of the show a bit more carefully… and I think that’s the vibe I want to display.

These look great they really do, but sadly a pass. Seeing how her wings are faulty sealed the deal thankfully especially at that price. Neca customer service is somehow worse than super7 so no way.I don’t even know if I wanna keep my Goliath it’s just pointless when one Neca figure size is equal to 5 Kenner ones on my shelf and look better (to me).

I may just settle on Lexington as he was my favorite. The heavy muscle look works for Goliath, I think, but I can't see it working well for Broadway or Hudson, and Brooklyn kinda looks a bit weird.

Then again, maybe it'll grow on me if I see them all together. But yes, the lack of closed wings hurts. Even cloth like ones that drape would have been good.

I do like that they hinged Brooklyn's beak though.
