Toyline for the Netflix MOTU CGI Series - Official Images!

Photos of Mattel's upcoming figures based on the Netflix CGI series He-Man And The Masters Of The Universe appeared online. They reveal three figures: He-Man, Skeletor and Battle-Armor He-Man with "Power Attack" feature. This series is a second He-Man show coming to Netflix that will be geared more for children than adults.

These look pretty terrible and i know they are supposed to. If price point is $9.99 i may grab them just because im sick in the head but anything more than that and i can easily pass. Especially with other better heman product currently out.

Yeah, not digging these or anything about the reboot so far. Maybe if I find them cheap, but I'm not a fan.

Part of me wants to own "everything" He-Man. But then I remind myself that I don't have any New Adventures toys, either.

Interesting Castle Grayskull in the artwork. If there’s room for these and Masterverse and Origins all on the shelves, then there’s room for a niche Classics line with Super7.

I'm not sure there IS room, frankly. I don't see all three lines doing huge business. Call it a gut feeling but I think this one, in particular, is going to do poorly. Probably a mix of the "new audience" not caring about the property and the old audience thinking the designs are poor.

We know we've got Origins for at least a while yet and Masterverse might do alright. But if this line takes off I'll be shocked.

These look fun... as suspected, He-Man looks like he stepped out of Trollhunters, which given how much I enjoyed that series is not a bad thing at all.
I like that the Battle Armor look recalls Battle Cat... that helmet in particular. And the H M design on the regular He-Man's chest looks like his sword, but upside down- which is also a neat touch.

Getting 200X King Hiss vibes from this Skeletor. I think my biggest gripe with this Skeletor and Revelations is that I'm a stickler for his skull being yellow and, well... we seem to be getting a lot of green these days, it seems. I just think the yellow skull look for Skeletor just pops more with the rest of his overall color scheme.
Can't wait to see some other characters! Where did these images come from? Did someone find them in store somewhere?!

I like these. If this is the line for kids, then we should expect to see a smaller scale in addition to these bigger figures. They will inevitably do Grayskull and vehicles, and as cool as a Grayskull scaled for 10" figures would be, I find that very unlikely, so they have to be doing smaller figures, too. Hopefully some with better articulation and detail

I think they look quite nice and think it's great Mattel are actually making more toys aimed at kids.

I'll get He-Man and Skeletor, but that's it for this line, the smaller ones at least. Also why does Skeletor have a Predicon logo as his chest armor?

    Not for me.

My 2 youngest kids fall into who they are made for. They both think these look ugly and stupid. Raised them right

I thought the regular He-Man was a battle armor one at first. I'm not used to that much clothing on him. I won't be collecting the line, but they look ok. They look like the characters which is more than what you can say about some reboots.

Eh, they're fine for what they are - they seem on a par with the usual cartoon tie-in figures aimed squarely at kids, which is fine. I think some expectations might be a bit skewed what with MOTU having been an adult collector property for a while.

Eh something for the kids and something for the adults. You can’t please everyone. If my kids want these I won’t say no. He-man looks a little like Brock from Adventure Bros, mostly his build

    Interesting... What scale are these?
They look fun, in a very different way from Origins.
I think it’s good that they are SO different, otherwise what’s the point!
While this might not be exactly my taste, I feel it’s a good direction for a modern kids franchise.

I like He-Man’s head! And while I am not a fan of fully covered He-Man, it is clearly where they need to go, given how society feel about exposed skin these days... I actually like this Skeletor head more than Masterverse! The suits have a (children’s) Transformers vibe to it.

Mattel firing on all cylinders, expanding and exploring... I’m very impressed how they are stretching creatively into all directions. For us nostalgic fans, there is Origins. These are something else entirely.

I do think I want a couple of these, depending how the Evil Warriors and Heroes look like! (Am I the only one who tends to like other characters more than the big two?)

Not really interested in the toys, but the CG designs. Skeletor looks really good, and I think the new Grayskull looks pretty cool. They seem to be going for a more sci-fi/fantasy angle.

I love how Skeletor's hood looks like Zartan's hood, that makes his figure automatically cool in my eyes. The He-Man figures I'll probably pass. If they give us a Scare Glow, well, I'll have to get that figure.

Most Wanted Filmation: Ileena, Twiggets, Dragoon, Widgets, Dark Dream, Lady Valtira, Count Marzo, Chimera.

No Slave Girl? Watch us hurl!

Nope. For example with the Mondo figures so far I have bought every character except for He-Man and Skeletor.

Nope. Its the second and third stringers that draw me to this franchise.
Take Origins. Literally the ONLY reason I started collecting that in the first place was when I heard about the preorder for Mosquitor back in February.
Before that, I was going to pass on this line altogether for just being the same old faces. And my number 1 favorite character is a guy who only appeared in 2 She-Ra episodes and an unproduced concept sketch until 2018 finally gave us a toy (and even then it had to come from Super7, not Mattel). What can I say? The only thing I like more than He-Man is weird retro style robots.

It seems like a fun new take. Hopefully the kids love it.

    This.

Plus, I think that this version of Skeletor looks way cooler than that God-Skeletor from Revelation...

According to my 11-year-old, this new He-Man looks dumb but Skeletor looks awesome.

    Ha! Nice to hear!
I love Mosquitor!! Never had him, he never came out in my country.
But yeah, even as a kid, it took a while till I got my first He-Man. He was cool, for sure, but others had such more outrageous designs and gimmicks and names and colors.

Dragon Blaster Skeletor was my 3rd ever figure, so he definitely grabbed my attention.

So in this new line and show, seeing a Dragon Blaster Skeletor, a Mekaneck, a Stinkor, or Kobra Khan, will be interesting.
Actually, seeing even the new Ram Man and Teela will help getting a feel for this- and if I “need” any of them

Huh, I did not realize that.
Dylamug first appeared in "Duel at Devlan", the first regular episode after Secret of the Sword. The writers and animators then forgot about him until near the end of the second season!
