Toyline for the Netflix MOTU CGI Series - Official Images!

Photos of Mattel's upcoming figures based on the Netflix CGI series He-Man And The Masters Of The Universe appeared online. They reveal three figures: He-Man, Skeletor and Battle-Armor He-Man with "Power Attack" feature. This series is a second He-Man show coming to Netflix that will be geared more for children than adults.

These look pretty terrible and i know they are supposed to. If price point is $9.99 i may grab them just because im sick in the head but anything more than that and i can easily pass. Especially with other better heman product currently out.

Yeah, not digging these or anything about the reboot so far. Maybe if I find them cheap, but I'm not a fan.

Part of me wants to own "everything" He-Man. But then I remind myself that I don't have any New Adventures toys, either.

Interesting Castle Grayskull in the artwork. If there’s room for these and Masterverse and Origins all on the shelves, then there’s room for a niche Classics line with Super7.

I'm not sure there IS room, frankly. I don't see all three lines doing huge business. Call it a gut feeling but I think this one, in particular, is going to do poorly. Probably a mix of the "new audience" not caring about the property and the old audience thinking the designs are poor.

We know we've got Origins for at least a while yet and Masterverse might do alright. But if this line takes off I'll be shocked.

These look fun... as suspected, He-Man looks like he stepped out of Trollhunters, which given how much I enjoyed that series is not a bad thing at all.
I like that the Battle Armor look recalls Battle Cat... that helmet in particular. And the H M design on the regular He-Man's chest looks like his sword, but upside down- which is also a neat touch.

Getting 200X King Hiss vibes from this Skeletor. I think my biggest gripe with this Skeletor and Revelations is that I'm a stickler for his skull being yellow and, well... we seem to be getting a lot of green these days, it seems. I just think the yellow skull look for Skeletor just pops more with the rest of his overall color scheme.
Can't wait to see some other characters! Where did these images come from? Did someone find them in store somewhere?!

I like these. If this is the line for kids, then we should expect to see a smaller scale in addition to these bigger figures. They will inevitably do Grayskull and vehicles, and as cool as a Grayskull scaled for 10" figures would be, I find that very unlikely, so they have to be doing smaller figures, too. Hopefully some with better articulation and detail

I think they look quite nice and think it's great Mattel are actually making more toys aimed at kids.

I'll get He-Man and Skeletor, but that's it for this line, the smaller ones at least. Also why does Skeletor have a Predicon logo as his chest armor?

    Not for me.

My 2 youngest kids fall into who they are made for. They both think these look ugly and stupid. Raised them right

I thought the regular He-Man was a battle armor one at first. I'm not used to that much clothing on him. I won't be collecting the line, but they look ok. They look like the characters which is more than what you can say about some reboots.

    This.

Plus, I think that this version of Skeletor looks way cooler than that God-Skeletor from Revelation...

According to my 11-year-old, this new He-Man looks dumb but Skeletor looks awesome.

I agree. Also I can't wait to see what the figures of other characters from the show look like.

I really hope these figures are in the same scale os the Origins figures.

Animation design looks good, but these designs do nothing for me. The figures themselves look like rubbish.
I do like the images of Skeletor and He-Man on the boxes. He-Man looks like He-Man (in the face)...

The two large figures look like bubble bath bottles. But the (I guess) smaller figure of He-Man is pretty good. I mean, it what it is. I don't see anything particularly bad about it. Looks like an action figure aimed at a child. I won't be buying them. My interest in these is getting a good look at the characters.

I really like the design of the regular He-Man. That armor on a classics figure would look fantastic. Reminds me of 200x stealth armor He-Man, which was one of my favorites... except for the fish sword.

I won't try to review them the same I do (mostly for myself) with Masterverse and Origins. The call here is for my 4-years old son, hehehe. If he wants them and they're seen in toy stores around here, I'll support him with my wallet. Once they're in hand I might look at them with special curiosity since I've been a MOTU fan since the very first time I saw those vintage figures in a toy store aisle, but I won't try to like or dislike these figures, they're for kids!
Wish list of Masterverse figures: Sagitar, Hans Hammerholder, Red Beast, Rattlor, Skeleteen, Zeelahr, Tug-O-War, Supreme Arbitor

If it is fun for kids, it is fun for kids. And kids do not like fuzzy underwear.

I listened to Scott Neithlich's You Tube channel. More than likely its a cash grab before the transfer to Universal.

The gargantuan success of the vintage line refutes that.
