Can you actually cook an egg outside during this insane hot summer weather?

Lets say if i put a metal/tin sheet on the ground outside and put some eggs on it, would the hot summer weather basically cook/fry them or what?

I've seen examples of it done by weather men.

Heck, I've seen the other end of the spectrum. Tossing water into the air to see if it freezes before it hits the ground.

The only answer I can give is the one that mountain climbers give. Because it's there.

Now I know that answer makes it worse but it's the best I got.

But trying to apply some logic I think it goes back to the first time you hear or see about it.

You're B.S. detector goes off and the only way you can turn it off is if you try it yourself.

    or

Guys do stoopid things. It's genetic. Can't be helped. Only controlled.

Somehow attempting to scale the north face of the Matterhorn seems a bit different than trying to fry an egg on the sidewalk...

'Low brow' entertainment can be VERY fun. I'm a huge (original) Honeymooners and Three Stooges fan.

    Thanks for making me smile.
