History of MOTU time line - do you agree with this list? Have any notes?

Battle Ram Blog and I were looking at a timeline for the history of MOTU & POP.
It's going to be for the DK book that's coming out later this year.

The author asked DK if I could show the list to all of you, as we'd feel better getting feedback from those willing to provide it, just to make sure the time line is as accurate as possible.

If you don't mind voluntarily giving feedback, I'd appreciate it. I'm so exhausted from Power-Con stuff that I'm worried I've overlooked something, or gotten a date or two (or more) wrong.

There's no glory in contributing (no credits, or comps, etc). Just helping out as fans, if any of you are willing.
For those willing to participate, I appreciate your feedback and notes!

The second wave of origins actually came out in 2020. Waves three on came out in 2021.

You should add the release of the toys for the CGI animated series in 2021 as well, as they plan to release them alongside of the cartoon.

At a cursory glance that all looks right to me (I had to jog the memory about NECA statues as early as 2002- but these are referring to that He-Man exclusive and the auction/charity pieces, is that right?).

One thing is for sure- simply looking over all of that was exhausting

Not sure if you need this:

The pre-order for the Super7 Netflix She-Ra and Catra figures started in 2018 and they were shipped in 2019.

No specific date, just when the cartoon debuts, which is supposed to be this year.

^I concur with these additional details. If the DK Book will take them.

On noteworthy sites that have made an impact in
the entire fandom, would maybe He-Man and She-Ra Episode Review Website qualify? It had its debut in 1997 or 1998?

A couple of quick fixes on dates:

The syndicated newspaper comic strip was published starting in 1986, not in 1985.
The Power Tour started touring in early 1987, not in 1986.

I wanted to include this one as well, but I could not confirm the date. I believe it is post 1996, but I am not certain. Should one of us message James?

The "New Adventures" He-Man Toy Line only lasted Three Years, didn't it? 1989-1991?

Thunder Punch He-Man and Battle Blade Skeletor are featured in the 1991 Mattel Catalog that I own.

Today's story was about cooperation, working together to get a job done. Have you ever tried to lift something heavy? With help from a friend or two, the job becomes easier. If we offer to help someone with his or her job, that person might be willing to help us, when we have a tough job to do. That's how people cooperate, by helping each other to get things done. Why a job that's dull and boring can be fun with a friends help. Give it a try. Until next time, bye bye.
