The irony in all of this is that in like.. any other scenario in this world, that would probably be a compliment cuz it's like telling someone that they're not a geek
Even though the show drops on Friday, my brother and fellow MOTU super fan, is coming around and we will be watching it together with some burgers and beers! We cant wait!!!

I guess when I said toy-inspired I meant vintage figures.
Trap Jaw is a bit more scary, but I know a lot of fans like to see him being really badass!
I gotta say, all speculation aside it's pretty wild that there's a new MOTU cartoon coming out and that it's getting tons of attention.
A year ago I'd assumed it would come and go without making any major ripples outside of the "hardcore" fans. But it definitely *seems* to be one of the biggest topics of discussion in all of pop culture and entertainment right now.
Kind of puts the old "Nobody cares about He-Man and MOTU" chestnut to bed. Or should, at least. For better or worse, for anyone's assumptions or preconceived notions... looks like a lot of people care quite a bit.
I'm more excited than most of my posts probably let on. I'm just still not sure if I'll be able to watch it on Friday so I'm kind of curbing the enthusiasm until I know for sure.
