Because, these guys have to be bought as a pair!

I'm betting they'll be about the same as Death Adder. It appears as if they will have seamless bodies like him, and it looks like they will be approximately his height (maybe a little shorter).

Like you said, it wouldn't feel right only having one of these guys, so I might have to pass on these. I've spent way too much on action figures in the last few years to be throwing down two hundred plus on Golden Axe henchmen.

They are really cool. I have all of them except the Nauts exclusive, who was limited to 300. Storm's variants have been pretty weak lately imo (demitri, e. Honda for example) but all of the Liger variants are unique enough on their own and worth owning, imo.

It will be a bitter pill to swallow, but I am already imagining the great battle scenes that can be set up with Death Adder, the Skeletons, the Bad Bros., Axe-Battler, Tyris, Gilius and their mounts!!

I have Axe Battler, but I don't think I'm going to continue on with the Golden Axe figures aside from the Skeletons. They look amazaing, just too many other lines that I would rather collect.

Now the Mortal Kombat Figures, I'm sticking with to the end. Super pumped they've finally revealed a painted teaser of this dude. He's been overdue for way too long.

It's good to see that he is finally making progress... and that it's his MK II / MK3 version.

I actually like the Demitri variants and the Haohmaru variants... but, you're right, most are very lackluster (I'm lookin' at you Terry Bogard!)

As a wreatling fan King was probably my favourite Tekken character. The Storm Collectibles King figure looks amazing.

Not really. Here are some with Jurrassic Express. Liger is about 5'7" and Luchasaurus should be substantially more taller than him. Hes more in his own scale....not even in scale with the Storm Hogan figures.

6" is my preferred scale too. I'd also like to see his MK2 face mask over this one. Nothing wrong with this one, but the MK2 look is my favorite look for him (and he's my favorite MK character).

All you need is Lt. Bitter, Longmoan, Heninger and Zuburoka. Then the first game is done!

My biggest gripe with Storm is that some of these announcements will most likely not be available for three more years...

Look on the bright side: Perhaps by then inflation-related stress won't force collectors to literally choose between buying some of these figures or feeding their kid for a week.

I don't even look at toy updates most of the time lately because I just can't bear it. I can't afford a single thing I want so I just put it all out of mind until I'm in a more advantageous position. Which is difficult with so much cool stuff coming out these days. I haven't even bought a single MOTU figure all year, which is killing me. I know I'm gonna get murdered for 'em on eBay a year or so from now, but it is what it is. Just couldn't swing any toys right now. Not without feeling like a real dummy. Last trip to the grocery store was over $300; I can't even let myself think about toys right now. If it ever stabilizes... we'll see.

But that'd be my advice. Long wait for these, sure... but maybe the world will be in a better place by then.
