You're not going to have any problem unloading the figure. I've seen so many people complaining about the price cause they just want the figure.



I'm very happy to get them both. This set is awesome!

I thought Sophitia, Sigfried or Ivy would have come first, but Taki is a nice surprise and really nice looking figure.
Still, I didn't enjoy SCVI gaming nor mechanics.

SCVI is a fun game... but, SCII is the pinnacle of the series IMHO.

Storm loves their four armed monsters. Sheeva looks great. I'm excited to get her, but it's still crazy to me how long this line takes to roll out. It started 6 years ago and we still haven't gotten Johnny Cage, Sonja Blade, Kitana, or Shang Tsung. It doesn't bother me too much cause they're so pricey. I'm guessing by 2030 we'll have a complete MK1-3 lineup.

As much as I love their deisgns, they are very pricey (quality don't really worth it) and I could not get some figures when released, and secondary market is outrageous since they don't re-release any of the most seeked figures.

Blanka is up next in the line after Balrog and was teased at SDCC 2022 along with Fei Long. When would they be released? Who knows for sure? Balrog was first announced in the 2021 SC catalog and it just started shipping this May, so it's looking like 2024 for jimmy the green monster to be in hand. Two years is a glacial pace of release from announcement to shipment for these figures, but we did get E.Honda and Zangief V.2 in 2021 and 2022, respectively, so hopefully we get a tease of Dhalsim or Vega later this summer to finally get closer to the full cast of og 12 world warriors in 2025 and 2026. Of course, this could get derailed by Storm Collectibles veering off course and re-releasing a rare fig like Chun-Li/M.Bison in Ultra SFII style, or reaching into any of the other Street Fighter licenses. I just hope they stick it out with SFII and release a new Dhalsim. My SOTA and Figuarts Vegas can fill the gap for now, but my SOTA Dhalsim is pretty tiny and fragile and should have a burlier design.

I got my Balrog from BBTS the other day.

He is an incredible figure! One of Storm's bigger figures too...

Plus, he comes with an extra torso for poses without his shirt on!

Each of his head sculpts look really good too... I'm still not sure which one I'll use for the display.

At the very least, I wish Storm Collectibles would release characters from the Ryuuko no ken / Art of Fighting series! Ryo, Robert, Yuri, Takuma, Mr. Big... anybody!

I do agree that Earthquake would be a good base for Chang... I would buy a 3-Pack if it meant I could get Chang, Choi, and Kim all at once!!


Earthquake reminds me that I have the Golden Axe Bad Brothers on order at BBTS... holy smokes, with the Red and Blue Dragons, plus the Chicken Leg and Death Adder, I will need to make some space in the display! Those Dragons take up a lot of room, lol!

My wallet and wife are unhappy with your post. My heart is ecstatic and I've pre-ordered my first Storm Collectible. Earthquake has been my single favorite Samurai Shodown fighter from the beginning (with Honorable mention 2nd place to Hanzo Hattori who is the coolest ninja of ANY arcade IMO).

I'm honestly glad we've got a long wait before this hits as my spending has been...more than normally allowable

Yup, the first release of Ax Battler sold out too... and every variety of Skeletons as well.

I'm sure that some folks are using the dragons in their Mythic Legion / MOTU displays, but I'm happy that these are selling so well. It gives me hope for some Revenge of Shinobi figures! (Or, Revenge of Death Adder!!)

I've always been a Ukyo man myself... he's been my main since the original Samurai Showdown.

Charlotte and Galford are a close second.

I think that Hanzo and Galford are a good bet from Storm... they could share everything but a headsculpt which means easy money for them. Plus, they love ninjas!

I didn't see any new reveals... which is strange considering they have used the San Diego venue to show off some really exciting stuff in years' past...
