This might be a stretch ,but in the first episode , during the evacuation scene , one of the civilians seems to be based on prince Adams " foppish dandy" concept design ? Especially with the wide brimmed musketeer styled hat

Is the ship at the very beginning of episode 3 inspired by the Royal Ship, Sea Eagle, from the 'Skeletor's Ice Attack' Ladybird book? Its immediately what I though of when I saw it and think its a certainly a possibility.

I thought that too,it's not the exact same design but definitely inspired by it not sure about how much " road ripper" I see in teela And Andras gas mask costume though , I'd understand if it was the same shade of green or had the same eye design , was it confirmed in a commentary or something ?

Wow, that's one of the silliest designs I've ever seen in MOTU. Glad it was never made into a toy! Horrendous.

It was brought up in one of the writer’s commentaries.

But I have it on good authority that is what they were referencing.

I'm pretty sure there are a couple Kex in the background of the palace scenes during Teela's ceremony / party.

Another Easter egg is that at least twice, Clamp Champ was addressed by his MOTU Classics "real" name Raenius. Also from the vintage line, the introduction of Point Dread and Talon Fighter. And the green gear that Queen Mariana was wearing when flying the Talon Fighter was basically her MOTUC Classics "Captain Glen" uniform. Oh... And Savage He-Man either being early mini-comics vintage He-Man or MOTUC Oo-Larr.

Pretty heavy MOTU Classics references for this series.

I would like to add Panthor helmet is from Classics. And Jungle/Savage He-Man uses an axe based on the vintage He-Man toy.

    Additional:

Queen Marlena "As if" is a call back to the voice actress, Alicia Silverstone, most famous character in her movie Clueless.

Not sure if this was mentioned, but there are definitely hints of the score from the 1987 movie in the Revelations music.

Probably doesn’t qualify as an Easter egg, but I was watching old Filmation clips on YouTube earlier and I noticed that Lyn and Skeletor’s relationship parallels Skeletor’s idea of pleasure in the Xmas special. Mainly that fights are fun, betraying your friends is a good surprise, and Skeletor likes having his skull licked.

Agree with the MOTU Classics reference. Scott / ToyGuru definitely put his stamp on the MOTU brand through Classics and have made things canon, especially with the real names used in this series and the CGI He-Man series.

If not already included: the Pool of Power (reference to the episode "Origin of the Sorceress").

The depowered Evil Lyn in the last episode was temporarily shown with short hair as depicted in her Filmation appearance and also 200x.

I would love to see Saurod in animated form with his laser/spark shooting ability, or at least an easter egg regarding him.

Was King Hiss in this series somewhere? How'd I miss that?!

Also has anyone caught any nods to the New Adventures cartoon or toyline? I am very much hoping for such a thing.
