They're all pretty fantastic, and I almost chose the Compendium, but I just adore that collection of the minis.

MOTU Minicomics Collection easily for me. It was the one that I HAD to have as it was the cornerstone to my MOTU obsession. Memories of these mixed with the old action figures are what made such a lasting impression on me, even this many years later.

Yeah, the minicomics collection is a fantastic book!

Just to be able to go back and relive the moments when we we originally read them, or to experience them for the first time, this book hits all the right notes!

Also, the trivia/information along the bottom edges of the page are so appreciated!!

    All are great books.

I cannot choose one over the other.
All has specific charm on each.

I own 5 of this but Pixel Dan book is coming in hopefully soon.
The supplement though might wait, i cannot find one yet locally.

Newspaper Strips. I did not read the newspaper back in the 80s, so these were almost 100% new to me.

This is interesting. I've been interested in getting the Art Of book, as I love the packaging art so much.
But now y'all got me wondering whether I should get the mini comic one instead.
Is the consensus that the Minicomic Collection is THE book to own?

For fans, I think they all are pretty fantastic and a dream, to have these volumes.

The ďArt Of..Ē was just the first one, so itís a bit more general than the others. It has a chapter about the Filmations series in it, about mini comics, some concept art, and some of the packagingÖ and more! Really a bit of everything. It is not a book specifically about the packaging art, but there are some spectacular, full page reproductions of the fantastic Earl Norem paintings for the (80s) US Motu magazine, that are probably the highlight of the book for me.

The others go much more into depth with their particular topic.
The mini-comics was a must for me, Iím a huge fan of those and love having them all now.

The Newspaper Strips was really special, despite being b/w, because that stuff is super hard to find and I never read any of them! So I was really excited having it.

Right now, the World Compendium is my favorite, since it compares many many items and characters and how they appeared in the different canons.

Each book has their own appeal!
